Have just seen this. My prayers and sympathy are with Violet`s family; as someone has said at least you will know her final resting place. And one day you will be reunited with her at Rainbow Bridge: never to be parted again. Night, night Violet, sleep tight RIP+++ Sending your family hugs and healing prayers for their grief. This seems so terribly cruel to lose a dog then find her only to lose her again - except this time she is not really lost at all. She is found. And safe now. I am so terribly sad for Violet's owners. I don;t know why this had to happen, but I do know sweet Violet needed to back in her family -secure, safe and surrounded by her family's love so she could go peacefully to heaven. This little baby has earnt her wings. Till you meet again, she is watching over you. x

Oh that is so sad but at least you were with her as she passed away and were able to comfort her in her dying moments. RIP sweetheart.

you must be heart broken. i know it wont help much but a least you had some time with her and she felt safe and loved when she died - which sadly many dogs never have. i know its still very raw but remember all the lovely times you had together in her short life and the happiness you brought each other.

Just a sad story i am the owners daughter and i have some very sad news Violet died this afternoon in my arms and fell asleep peacefully ;( May she Rest In Peace. I would like to Thank you all and it was lovely to have her home for her last night xxx

Just heard from the owner and thankfully Violet has been found. A lady out riding her horse found her and took her to the local kennels, one very lucky dog, welcome home little one xxx

Sadly there has been no news of little Violet, posters are up in the area, I have advised the owner to put an advert in the local newspaper as this will cover a wider area....

I have added Violet's details to Dog Lost Norfolk and Suffolk facebook group and other groups in the area.

I have spoken to the owner's daughter and little Violet slipped out of the car when they stopped at the kennels she was going to stay at, this is in Halesworth. VIOLET DOES NOT KNOW THE AREA.
The Dog Warden, and local vets in the area have been notified. The owner's daughter is going to try to sort a photo out for us. I will speak to the kennels tomorrow as they are helping with Violet.
