I'm happy on this occasion to apologise for deformation of character towards the travelling community! So happy that little Jasper is safely home.

Delighted to report that Jasper is home!
He had wandered up the road and a kind woman took him in for safe keeping. Well done finder who saw posters and contacted the owner.

White van man may be a possible, but that does not necessarily indicate travellers. I drive an old white van myself. Was it Transit sized or a small one?

this little dog kept me awake last night. He looks so sweet, so happy and loved in the piccie. I dread to think where he's being kept and how he's being treated. Why the hell don't owners get their dogs chipped. I just pray that his owners are postering like mad and have flooded posters everywhere, especially close to travellers sites. Maybe wrong, but I'd stick the reward up! Please please nasty thieves - phone his owners, let them have this little boy back where he's really loved.

Hate to say this, but I agree with Neighbark, (white van makes me think travellers too)

POster poster poster, are there any travellers sites (white van makes me very suspicious) nearbye, or within 10mile radius.
Need to watch prelove and gumtree sites every day.
POSTER POSTER POSTER, make him famous and far too hot to handle. My heart sunk when I saw he wasn't microchipped. Can the owners get a CRN - very important as it looks like he's been stolen. Are there any car boots or markets where he could be offered for sale.

Jasper was outside on the front of his gatden with another dog when he vanished. He has never done anything like this before and his owners are very worried.
They have posted about him on the Sheffield forum and asked all their neighbours I'd they saw what happened to him. A man was seen to stop in a white van near to their house at about the time Jasper went missing but at this stage we don't know if this had anything to do with Jaspers disappearance or not. His owners are aware they need to contact the dog warden and the local stray kennels and have put posters up.
I have advised that they continue to poster,try to get media coverage and contact the local radio station. Hoping little Jasper is found very soon x
