Brilliant news. Emailed I've just received from Clive.

Barbara....I have calmed down a bit now and given Pebbles a much needed bath! Thank you and doglost so so much.....the support was fantastic...I will make a donation.
Thanks for all you do.
We used the doglost posters and laminated them and put them everywhere! Contacted all the necessary people.....by this morning I think the whole town was looking for him.
Suddenly lots of phone calls...people chasing him with leads.....butchers running down the road in white coats trying to grab him....he was having none of that!!! I drove round and round---pulled up and spotted him in my rear view mirror.......shouted and he came straight away......now fed and watered and BATHED...he was stinking and filthy but unharmed!!

Drove around the town.....looking.....spoke to several other dog walkers....nothing yet..
Helen
He looks lovely and much like my last dog.

I'm sure more sightings will come now that you have spread the word and put posters up. As you mention that he was spotted last night, maybe he is waiting until it is quieter again and will be spotted this evening as it gets darker.

Hope that you hear very soon.
Clive
