Shared on my FaceBook wall - get it onto as many FB walls and pages as possible. It's one of the quickest ways to get extremely wide covereage. Best of luck - hope the little one turns up safe and well soon!

Advertised in this weeks Countryman's Weekly magazine.
Gracie
thank you again for doing this for me Sue, we had a possible sighting yesterday but unfortunately it turned out not to be him. He is on every animal rescue/welfare page in Ireland that we could find through facebook and all the websites aswell. What kind of coverage does that magazine have in the UK. Do you have advice/guidance on where else i might post his details in the UK?
Mollychops
well done sue

Gracie I've sent his details and photo off the the Countryman's Weekly magazine tonight and it should be published on 11 April. Hopefully he'll be home by then but if not it will get him media coverage in all areas where it is sold including the UK.

Paws and fingers xd for the safe return of Bob
Gracie
thank you Sue for this - Jayne, a white transit!was seen on CCTV passing the house - no reg unfortunately. We have another dog (JRT) who is a lot older & neutered. he returned to the house 10 minutes later from a different direction so we assume they took him and dumped him when they realised he was old. At the moment there is a lot of dog theft in the countryside here and we have heard that there are a lot of dogs leaving Rosslare going to the UK - Why? we dont know!!

Gracie I will advertise Bob for you but it will be a couple of weeks before his advert goes in

Thank you for your advice, we have covered all angles from the minute he went missing, posters, wardens, gardai, SPCA's all over Ireland and all the rescue centres. At the moment a lot of dogs are being stolen in Ireland, whether pedigree or not. He may end up in the UK.

Sorry to see that BOB is missing.
  • If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
  • Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
  • A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (38288)
  • Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
  • You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
  • Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
  • If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
  • If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
  • Keep us updated by keeping your dog's page up to date and check for posts from helpers who may have suggestions and possible matches or sightings
  • DogLost is free and anyone asking for money to find or return your dog is not volunteering for us. If you are concerned about an approach you have received, please email admin@doglost.co.uk
