Was she ever found?

Have followed up the found staffie female which was being held at Newcastle Dog and Cat shelter, took Lindsey and Sean down but unfortunately it wasn't Molly. Lindsey said a friend thought she had seen Molly running around two streets away from where she went missing on Tuesday this week, but the dog disappeared before they could get close enough to be sure. Have advised Lindsey to poster, poster, poster and try to scent the area incase it was Molly and she can't find her way home. xxx
sdodd308
The found staffie is in Westways, West Road, Newcastle upon Tyne, have left a message for Lindsey to pop in and have a look just incase it is Molly, I'm getting different descriptions from the receptionist and the person Margaret who found her. So to be on the safe side will ask Lindsey to go check herself to be sure. xxx

I live South Shields, work during the week but would help with transport, there is also a face page perhaps a request on there for any volunteers to help with transport too.....I know these kennels are not always easy to get to if you don;t have your own transport
Minigirl - Area Co-ordinator, West Yorkshire
Telephoned for an update- sadly Molly is still missing.
Thanks sdodd308- you've been a real star helping the owner.
Tanks carina and MMM- owner having transport difficulties at the moment.

can Molly's owners actually go in person to the kennels....sometime staff get it wrong, might not have time to throughly check or maybe cross wires with staff shift handovers. There are dozens of staff's in kennels and she could have been accidently overlooked when you've rang the kennels. I'm going back a few years now but I had a border collie that was lost and I rang Claremont Rd who said he wasn't there, a week or so later I went in person and he had been there all along.....not saying that will be the case here but rule nothing out until you see with your own eyesAnother thought, have you tried contacting all the professional dog walkers they walk dogs all day for a living so an increase chance of spotting her, her face is distinctive so can's stay hidden for ever. ......good luck....I have a little (or not so little now) staff x and she is called Molly too....I'd be devasted if I lost her.......

Still no sign of Molly, have had information to say a there was a radio report on 2nd April saying a staffie was handed into police with a skin condition. I've tried the local stations and not had much luck. I've spoken to both Shelters, Claremont Road and Benton Farm. Claremont said definately no but Benton Farm said they had so many impossibly to say. Have also spoken to Dog Warden and left Molly's details. We really need people to help put up posters...if anyone is in the west end of Newcastle upon Tyne. We have a facebook page for Molly - https://www.facebook.com/#!/HelpFindMolly

Still no sign of Molly, Cleadon Kennels have a young staffie cross but unfortunately its not her. Have been down to Benwell this morning postering, managed to get some posters in local shops including Pet Shop, Charity Shop and Watch Dental Practice. Asda couldn't put one in main store but did take one for their staffroom. Lets hope we get some good news soon. xxx

It is best to just put YES in the reward box and not put an amount as it does send it a bit all over the place.
sdodd308
Could admin please alter the wording for the reward plz, its a bit messed up, the reward is £50 for her safe return. Thanks xxx

This is my area so have been out postering close to where Molly was stolen from. I have spoken to Lindsey, Molly's owner and she found the yale lock on the back gate had been opened and Molly was gone.I am currently chasing up a possible sighting in Cleadon Kennels, have spoken to the kennels but they can't be sure one way or the other. I'm trying to get a picture of Molly on their facebook page so they can have a proper look for me. If no joy will try and get over to Cleadon Kennels tomorrow or Friday.

Telephoned owner - no news of Molly. She is 8 months old and on medication for a skin complaint. Owner has contacted dog warden and kennels.
Advised her to also telephone local vets and get as many posters up in the local area as possible.
Also advised owner to visit kennels and try for appeal in local newspaper.
Fingers crossed someone has taken this much loved family pet in for safe keeping .
