Just wanted to pop back and say a huge thank you to everyone that helped and sent kind words to help us find poppy. To say I was going out of my mind for the 2 hours she was missing would be an understatment it felt like a lifetime.
Jo_D I did not know how to contact you to say she had been found so glad you thought to check before you set off.
If i had thought of what she would do i would have known where to look.
She loves children it was school time stupid me never thought to check the local schools and thats exactly where she was found in the local Brid school playing ball with the headmaster and the children!!!
I just panicked as she has no road sence at all as she is walked in open fields ( where I live) and on the beach taken by car when we visit my daughter yet she managed to cross the main road maybe i should give her more credit but one thing for sure she will not be getting out alone ever ever again my poor heart couldnt take it :)
Also could I add that I can not praise this site enough for getting the word out that not only poppy but all the other lost dogs keep up all the fantastic work. Prayers go out to all the dogs and owners to hope for a speedy return home xxxx

Thank you Jo-D there are 12 people out looking for her at the moment on foot on bikes and in cars. We have been searching since 8.30 am dont know where else to look for her we are all in bits over her. vets dog warden police and pet log have all been informed.

Also, if it helps at all, the dog wardens in this area are very good so if someone finds her on the street and calls them I'm sure they will be in touch.

Hi, I'm in this area and can put up posters in shops around Quay Road at lunch time. Unfortunately I don't have time to go out looking for her on foot but will definitely keep my eyes open.

she was last seen crossing Quay Road towards Gypsey road Brett street this morning. She will not know where she is as was only visiting the area. She is very people orientated and may jump up but she is NOT nasty at all.
She is on medicated baths for mange her fur on her chest is just starting to come back. her neck is still sore with it.
