I've had conformation from Rod's owner Graham that he's back home safe and sound and was looked after like a king with the wardens apparently :-)

fantastic news, I had a call from 'Rod's' owner tonight. He was out looking for him and saw the posters :-D apparently he's done it before.... Told him to think about getting him tattooed or chipped. I also asked him to confirm he's got him after he's been to the dog warden. Nice to have a happy ending :-)

I will take some posters out there this afternoon when I walk my lot. I also spoke to the dog warden this morning as Jayne advised, she said that the out of hours person would pass on all details. I also posted him on my own facebook page, so he's been well circulated so far :) Hopefully he'll be home soon.

I was the person who found this boy last night. He was found late evening at the back of Oadby Golf Course on the bridlepath going towards Newton Harcourt. He was collected by the dog warden from my house last night. She scanned him but found no chip. Also in the light he actually looks more of a Vizsla type - perhaps you could amend this Jayne? He was also entire and not as we first thought.

Photo being sent to admin...out of hours dogwarden coming to collect and scan...have advised owners to let in hours dog warden know tomorrow...hopefully as dog is neutered and cared for it will probably be microchipped too.
