- Mollie is spayed and it says the found dog looks like she just had a litter so less likely to be her. :(

- Hi sas2506 I have posted the found dog you refer to on Mollie's FB page. Although I think Mollie has dark ears but is certainly worth notifying the owners.

- Could this be her?

- dogzr4me, I posted Cobie's photo on Mollie's FB page so Mollie's owner knows about Cobie. As far as I remember is not Mollie :( A few others also posted Cobie seemed so promising.
I have just posted Dog ID 42298 in the Found Section on Mollie's page so they can check. Last edited: 2012-08-22 01:37:08 by reggiemollieros - 2012-08-21 00:30 lizzy
- very similar dog on west yorkshire dog rescue site, The dog is called lola. She is a new in to Netherlands from a dog pound. When you go on above site, click the link on left hand side for dogs in other rescues and then select 3rd link down Barnsley and district animal warden. She look very much like Mollie. Good luck with your searches.

Amazing hearing stories of dogs found many miles away, hope lovely Mollie found soon x - 2012-08-19 23:17 Jackalee (Kathryn) Area Co-ordinator Gtr Manchester/North West Areas
- AnnieSparky, the owner is going to contact the Lincs DW for more info tomorrow.
mumstaxi I have also sent the link for the one you posted to the owner but not heard back yet.
Beanie245, not sure about the one you posted as it says Lylo is her real name and the only way they would know that is if she is chipped (Mollie isn't) or she was surrendered by her owner. Also the black markings around her nose don't really match. Thanks for posting though :)Last edited: 2012-08-19 23:18:29 by Jackalee (Kathryn) Area Co-ordinator Gtr Manchester/North West Areas - 2012-08-19 20:47 Beanie245

- Update = there has been some confusion here. They have checked the link to Casey and she is not Mollie. I think I have found the link to Cobie that goldenfrodo has posted but would be good if you could confirm this. I have posted it on Mollie's FB page. http://www.animallifelineuk.org/forum/showthread.php?31226-Homeless-Hounds-Pound-dog-list-3-8-2012&p=183002 Last edited: 2012-08-11 22:34:18 by reggiemollieros

Update have posted on the FB page to ask them to look here. I have also posted on the Doglost NW Facebook page under the comment about Mollie asking them to be in touch with Mollie's owner so hopefully they can have a look at the possible match asap. - I find it so heartbreaking to see found dogs and they don't even get a mention from their owners. How can a dog not be known by someone somewhere. Then just the opposite which, is also heartbreaking, owners still hopefully trying to get their beloved pet home safely after months, even years in some cases.

- I've also sent a text to Mollie's owners.
I've just heard that poor Cobie is due to be PTS on Monday.
So many dogs being destroyed because their owners cant be found its absolutely heartbreaking. - 2012-08-11 10:46 goldenfrodo, Area Co-ordinator Wales and NW
- I have emailed a photo of a bitch (Cobie)to the owners to check if it might be Mollie.

- Thanks Jayne and Goldenfrodo :)
The owners have been very busy today. They have visited Manchester Dogs Home but Mollie wasn't there. They have contacted the Tameside Dog Warden, Tameside Animal Shelter and have had posters printed out. There have been a few leads today via Facebook including a couple of sightings. First on Friday outside the local school, someone is trying to contact the lady seen with Mollie for more details. Second today, a dog similar to Mollie was seen on Alexandra Street just around the corner from her home. Info is starting to come in and the family are doing a great job. I have suggested that they set up a Facebook Group for Mollie as they have lots of friends and family who could help spread the word on the internet.
Bumping Mollie and keeping my fingers crossed that she is home very soon :) - 2012-02-06 11:27 goldenfrodo, Area Co-ordinator Wales and NW

- I have spoken to the owners and Mollie slipped out as the owner went into the communal garden at about 12.30pm on Friday. They are visiting Manchester Dogs Home tomorrow and having some posters printed at the library. I have also mentioned to contact the Tameside Dog Warden. I will send the email advice and contact them again to see how they are going on.
If anyone is in the area and able to put up a poster or two it would be very much appreciated. Its very bad weather at the moment and Mollie is a very much loved family pet, we need to find her asap. - 2012-02-05 20:28 Jackalee (Kathryn) Area Co-ordinator Gtr Manchester/North West Areas
- Mollie has already been registered with the Animal Wardens (cover out of hours in Tameside), will check if she has been reported to the Tameside Dog Warden too.

- Sorry to see that MOLLIE is missing.
If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and at the same time, check that all details held are up to date.
If you have not already done so contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, contact the Police.
Give them all a detailed description of your dog with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your own area by clicking on the green 'Find Any UK Vet' graphic near the top right hand side of the page under the 'latest missing dogs' photo.
A photograph of your dog is essential - if you have not already uploaded a picture, please do so by clicking on 'Update Details' above, or you can email admin@doglost.co.uk with a photo of your dog, quoting the dog's DogLost ID number. You can also add comments and update your dog's status by clicking on the title bar at the top of the comments list. You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments.
You can obtain a 'MISSING' poster by clicking on 'View Poster' above. POSTERS ARE EXTREMELY IMPORTANT. Start postering now!
If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, they can be re-homed legally after 7 days, so please try to visit rescue centres to look for your dog and give them a poster. Do not rely on checking by phone alone, as other people may not recognise your dog by your description.
Please keep us updated by keeping your dogs page up to date and check for posts from helpers that may have suggestions and possible matches or sightings.
If your dog has been stolen please inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN) for the theft.
DogLost is free – anyone asking for money to return your dog is not working for us, and may offer fake photos as 'proof'. If you think we may have called you but aren't sure, please contact us on the phone number or email address at the top of our homepage. We can't stop criminals from trying, but we can confirm if we tried to contact you.
