So very, very happy to read that Ozzie has been found and that he is safely back home. Stay safe little man - it is not the weather to be exploring and having adventures.

Spoke to the owners yesterday morning who informed me that they had caught Ozzie about 15 mins ago, very pleased. He was apparently held up in someones garden. You may wish to contact them to confirm XX

Thank you BG. Owners, keep those posters going up - 100's of them, especially in the areas of sightings and try and see if these sightings form a triangle like the information I sent you. You are very close - once you have a sightings you have a way forward. Keep plotting these. Remember the scenting too and where you scent, you poster heavily.

I mentioned Ozzie to a lady at work and she said she has seen a black lab running along North Road near the hospital earlier this week at about 1.30pm. She could not remember which day it was. I have given her a copy of the poster as well as my phone number and she has said if she sees the dog again, she will either phone number on poster or she will phone me. She will also let her husband know. He is a taxi driver, so will keep his eyes open around Hertford. Stay positive. The more people know he is out there, the more that can look out for him.

Excellent. Try and keep him in a safe area with the scenting, but keep him away from trains and station by keeping your scent away from there. If he went missing at Sele farm area, he will probably at some point be back there so if safe scent to keep him there and not towards the station etc. Remember he is running scared so do not spook him or chase, allow him to come to you or let him follow you. use lots of food - he is a lab! :-)

Glad to hear that Ozzie has been spotted again, he seems to be staying more or less in the same area. Have you managed to get any posters put up in Hertford North Station, and possible the newspaper shop there? Perhaps the pub opposite may be an idea as well. Stay positive, the more people that know he is missing and the area in which he seems to be staying, the more people will be keeping an eye open for him. Perhaps poster up at Sele School as well, I am sure the pupils will be willing to look out for him. Keep strong - he will be home with you soon. I'll keep looking whilst I am out and about and spread the word as much as I can.

Ozzie was spotted in Sandy Close Hertford at about 5-5:30pm he ran off and not sure if he has headed up to Sele Farm or is staying around the North station area, Tony and some friends are still out looking, thought I would update for him. Thank you to everyone who is helping to find Ozzie.

Border Girl, I am exactly the same. But you really just never know and that is when they might be out and about hiding under the darkness. Well done! x

I've just had a quick drive around Sele Farm in the vague hope that I may have spotted Ozzie. Bit silly really since it is too dark to see much at all, but I felt I had to try otherwise would not have slept easy. I'll print some posters off and try to put some up. There is a small parade of shops up there, which includes a fish and chips shop, butchers and a bakers, so he may linger there if he is hungry. It may be worth asking the pub(Golden Griffen?) if they would put posters up. Hope you hear some news about Ozzie, and that he is back home with you soon. I'll try to have another drive around tomorrow, may have more luck in the daylight.
