Alfie was lovely and obviously a much loved boy. When he followed me back to my house he wasn't too shy about coming in or to jump on sofas or come upstairs and jump on my bed. Just glad it was a happy ending cos reading all the "rainbow bridge" stories just breaks my heart.

Good news... took him to vet and got the chip checked. Although the land line number they had was same as on the tag (the dead number) fortunately the mobile number registered was still the same and Alfie is now home. Turns out he only lives a bit further up my road but they only moved there recently.
