Thank-you all for your kindness. We have some very sad news: Benjy was found yesterday by a neighbour in the next street at the bottom of his pool. He must have been there since he went missing. Please be aware of how important it is to check back gardens, garages, sheds and pools as quickly as possible when finding that a pet has gone missing in your neighbourhood. We are so very upset. But it's better in the circumstances that he has been found. Not knowing was very distressing. He will always be in our thoughts and hearts.

Hi: So sorry you still have no news of Benji, don't give up, you are doing all the right things to help get him home. Could you get your local press or radio station to do some coverage? Hope your soon reunited, your in my thoughts. X

sorry entry below isnt saying they have found benji its just what they say on ads but it is a westie found in yorkshire but i cant paste it from my pc will keep trying to get the details and post on here sorry not more help at the moment

Please check the kennels at allerton bywater , castleford ,whom take in dogs for cash and without any checks. i dare not say the name on here but i have known leeds people take them dogs to get rid off and they do buy them if theyre a saleable breed. i know of staffy pup, they sold to this place for £20 and it was on their site next day for £195 without any vet checks

Hi LookingforB: I have been a member of this site for a number of years, and although am not a member of Facebook or Twitter,so could not do this for you. Can you or someone you know put a notice on both these sites to help make people aware about Benjy? Anything is worth a try to help get him home. Unfortunately you have to make him TOO HOT TO HANDLE! If someone else has him. Hope your soon reunited with your little sweetheart. My thoughts are with you.

Thank-you so much. Thanks for altering the advert. It is all so new to us. We have phoned up more vets. Whenever we are out in the car I look out near where we live just in case. People who have seen me walking with Benjy before are also keeping a look out for him.If he is around he will be spotted eventually. I keep hoping it will happen. Thanks for your support.

Hi: Sorry to see Benjy is missing. Put up posters EVERYWHERE and ANYWHERE, lamp posts, shops, supermarkets, vets etc, in case someone has taken him in and unaware someone is looking for him. I live in LS14 area and will def keep my eyes and ears open and also make other dog walkers aware of him. Hope he's soon home safe, what a little cutie! Come on Benjy, get yourself home little fella!

Thankyou to everyone who has posted on Benji's page !Sadly there is still no news of him. Benji went missing from the STONEGATE ROAD area on the borders of MEANWOOD and MOORTOWN.Hoping for some news of this little chap very soon x

is it possible to ask the road name of where Benjy went missing please? as someone local to the area walks in LS16/ LS17 and knows local dog walkers and it may help :)

I am in Horsforth and know a lot of the local dog walkers, I will look out for Benjy and Snickers and will spread the word, I hope they return home safe and sound and soon!

Sorry to see BENJY is missing. My dog SNICKERS is also missing and we are desperately trying to find her. I have printed out 10 copies of BENJY's poster and will laminate them when I get home from work. I will post them in the Beckett Park area in Headingly Leeds as there are tons of dog walkers and dog lovers there. Fingers crossed for both BENJY and SNICKERS.
