I was so happy she had not lost her collar and tag but microchip and/or tattoo are on the agenda. We have found a mobile vet who will microchip at home as Betty gets very distressed in the car. Although I believe not all microchip readers are universal, which caused our hesitation. Many thanks again.

Hooray - so glad Betty back home. Will you think about getting her microchipped just in case this happened again?

BETTY FOUND. Many, many thanks. This website was a godsend last night when we lost Betty in the dark. Doing everything possible by following your advice until daylight was the best way to get through the night as we could not sleep! I am ever so grateful to all involved and will make sure dog owners everywhere make use of it if the dreaded happens. Many thanks. xxxLast edited: 2012-01-11 16:41:34 by Cabbagerose
