Another BRILLIANT RESULT. Thanks Maggie for the updates while I was out. I've just logged on to update a few things and will be off again shortly. So pleased Shadow's family have been found, welcome home gorgeous boy. Great he was chipped and previous owner still had the details of his new owner (a lot don't when details have not been updated).

Some fantasic news!! The owners of Shadow have come forward, whoop whoop!!

I'm so pleased that Shadow will be going back home to his family, made my day!!
Well done to finder for finding him, contacting the dog warden and for taking good care of him.

Its with GREAT pleasure to be moving Shadow into the lovely BLUE

Update: Dog Warden phoned the number for the owner on the chip however the orginal owner rehomed Shadow. he's given the Dog Warden the phone number of the new owner, Dog Warden is waiting for them to call back, Shadow is still in the Dog Wardens van but if no reply from new owner he will be taken to Halewood which is where the found dogs are taken

This boy is now with animal wardens. He is chipped and is called Shadow. They are currently trying to contact his owner.

I never got a call back from katiejc90, just seen this on a FB page:

"Hi my friend has been in touch with the dog wardern&they r coming to check if he's chipped&take him away, they won't let her keep him&find him a new home their going to rehome him themselves xx"

Hello, Scruples Whippet Rescue can offer this dog a rescue space and also a loving foster home for him to do his 7 days in. I will be phoning the finder and the council dog warden tomorrow to help.

We were alerted to this found dog on FB, i have been told that the finder is going to contact the Council Dog Warden tomorrow and also going to check to see if he is chipped.
