Neighbark
THAT was a long few days for you all!!! It makes me wonder just how many other dogs are kept by the finder!
Poppinloppin
Marlene and Scott, I'm so pleased you've got Keira back home safely where she belongs.
Marlene Robinson
A huge thank you to those of you who have supported and helped us in our search for Keira. We are extremely grateful to you all. It goes without saying we are ecstatic to have her home and well. We are extremely touched that so many people who we don't even know went to such lengths to help us get her back. Our sincerely thanks to you all. Marlene and Scott

Really pleased to announce that Kira is home safe - she was being held in a house locally but owner has been able to get her back Last edited: 2011-12-29 19:38:10 by Angus

I have put some posters up whilst patrolling on Campbell Park, Stonepit Field & Linford Wood. Also asked the pet shop opposite The Black Horse pub to put a poster up on their noticeboard. They have a chip scanner so they can scan any strays brought into the shop. Hope this helps, sorry I couldn't do more.

Really hope she is home very soon. Last edited: 2011-12-28 22:36:00 by Poppinloppin

Sorry, forgot to say that I have also posted on Milton Keynes Dog Watch facebook page with a link to Kira.

There was no sign of her in Campbell Park today so fingers crossed she is safe tonight. Unfortunately we have no land in Conniburrow so I can't patrol there but I will put up posters in Campbell Park (inc by the canal boat moorings), Linford Wood, & I'll pop down to Stonepit Field (near Black Horse pub - it's popular dog walk, especially for bull breeds) I am meeting a couple of Willen residents tomorrow so I will ask if they mind postering Willen Lakes for us. Let's hope Kira is hone by then.
Rachel - Bucks volunteer
Hi guys, sorry for delay - back to work today. I think that's a main route through Conniburrow - she could be anywhere. Can owner let us know where regular walks are? etc. Postering is the best way Dawn - if you don't see a post, put one up. Make her too hot to handle if she has been picked up. Thank goodness she is microchipped. I can't get out tonight but will print posters off and get out and about tomorrow. Stay safe little girl.
DogLostAngus
Thanks Dawn, if you could take some posters and do the noticeboards and car park areas that would be a good start - I have been in contact with owners mum so not sure how much local postering has been done yet by son who Kira lives with
Community Ranger, The Parks Trust
Let me know if I can help - I'm patrolling Linford Wood & Campbell Park tomorrow - both v near Conniburrow. I can put up posters if it helps but don't want to duplicate anything the owner has planned. Dawn, The Parks Trust

Thanks Poppinloppin, The street she was lost on is Ransomes Avenue, Conniburrow - I will text you the house number so that you have a starting point to search from x
DogLostAngus
sadly the dog at the kennels was not Keira but a french mastiff (DOGUE DE BORDEAUX) - Just trying to get full details of area of loss - I know that she slipped out of the door about 8.30 last night when visitors where leaving
Poppinloppin
Hi, which area of MK was she lost from? (don't know my postcodes). If the dog Angus has seen at kennels is not Kira, I can get out in the morning and search.

She is actually a Rottweiller x American bulldog. But looking at the photo she couls be mistaken for a Mastiff type.
DogLostAngus
there is a found mastiff on animal wardens site in MK10 found 27/12 - I think Keira could easily be mistaken for a mastiff - will check as soon as I arrive at kennels and call owners if she is there - I will be there at 2pm
