- Where Found Approx 4pm on Saturday 3rd December 2011, found stray on Keldholme Lane, Alvaston. Found by a lady in a car who had also said that she had seen the dog stray for a few weeks but had been unable to cat
- Found In Region Central
- Date Reunited
- Other Info She was wearing a red studded collar but has no tag or micro chip. She is very friendly and well mannered it's apparent that she has been a loved family pet. She was in a mess very knotted and covered in fox poo, she has been bathed and had the bad knots removed. She is currently staying with me so that I could walk her locally in the area that she was found hoping to jog someones memory as to who's dog she is. We have heard that she may have belonged to an older gentleman - but I have no further

- Hi thanks Littlehelper, I also spoke to them and she didnt fit his dogs description but at least he being proactive in trying to find them, I wish her owners would come forward as she such a sweetie and would be lovely to see her home for Christmas. She is currently at the 'beauty palour' having her nails done and the last of the matting and knotts removed plus a good bath! The groomers have said that she looks more like a Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen x and looking online at some pictures I can see what they mean - so keep your eye's peeled for any lost dogs of that descripton. In the meantime and despite all the offers for good homes that I have had - I'm happy to say that Harper (the name we have given her - due to her being the 7th animal that I now have living in my busting at the seams house!) will be officially adopted by us - if the owners dont come forward. She has already made herself at home and is even coming round to the fact that my horses are not as scary as she first thought - proper little dog syndrome with them orignally.

- Hi Amymoss, I rang again to the radio and they gave me the phone number of the person who had lost the two dogs, I rang him and he told me that someone had got his dogs and that he was sitting on the road each night waiting for them to take them for a walk and he would grab them back

- If I was in a position to get a second dog I would be tempted by this lovely lady! Hope she finds a home, but she does look very happy where she is....

- Hi Littlehelper - Thanks for the tip, I have rang them but nothing fits her descripton, the only thing close was a brown terrier the size of a jack russell with white spots lost on the 14th October in Kilburn, but she's bigger then that and more white then brown. Lesleyjane - yes those pictures were taken 10 mins after bringing her home, she has very much got my husband wrapped round her little finger!

- She looks very happy where she is!! Yes, by the state of her originally she may well belong to someone elderly who couldn't groom her properly, hope she is reunited or found a loving new home, well done for caring for her so well.
