STILL NO NEWS?

THANK YOU TIBERCAT FOR YOUR POST. WELL HOPEFULLY SHE IS AWAY FROM THE TRACKS. I WAS AFRAID SHE COULD HAVE BEEN WEDGED IN A CRACK/HOLE ALONG THE STATION AREA. I HOPE SHE CAN SURVIVE THE COLD WEATHER BUT HOPEFULLY SOMEONE MAY HAVE FOUND HER AND NOT SEEN ANY POSTERS. I DID'NT REALISE SHE WAS ON ANOTHER WEBSITE SO DID'NT KNOW WHAT WAS HAPPENING. I HAVE A SMALL DOG AND WOULD HATE TO THINK OF HER OUT IN THE COLD. HOPE YOUR CAT WILL BE BETTER SOON.
Tibercat
Hi dwilliams,
Just to let you know I travel this line most weekdays and have been searching for any signs of her and nothing. I have been unable to do a foot search as I have an ill cat at home but the line is barely visable/accessable on foot unless you know specific areas. The station is a large main line station but she was last seen leaving it running East- a bit of useful information I sourced from another website. I am hoping that she has been small enough to get out under the fencing along the track and someone has picked her up too. Poor wee thing!
dewilliams42
her fosterer must be devastated. i just hope someone has found her and not reported it. the worst part is just not knowing.
DogLostLostdogs ScotlandSable - Regional Co-ordinator - Scotland
Yes - it is possible but even if she had been involved in an accident, she is so small, perhaps nobody would have seen her.
dewilliams42
is it possible she has had an accident and the railways has'nt reported it? her little face is haunting me-poor little girl.
dewilliams42
I KEEP LOOKING ON HERE AND HOPING.
dewilliams42
SO WORRYING THERE IS NO NEWS. HOPE SOMEONE HAS FOUND HER.DONT KNOW WHAT WAVERLEY STATION IS LIKE-IS IT A LARGE MAINLINE STATION WHERE THERE WOULD BE LOTS OF HIDING PLACES? SURELY SOMEONE MUST HAVE PICKED HER UP AND TAKEN HER HOME.
coralvb
Me too. I check this one daily hoping for news..Have ads gone in the local papers?
dewilliams42
I FEEL SO SORRY FOR THIS LITTLE MITE. SHE COULD FREEZE TO DEATH IN THIS WEATHER AS SHE IS SO SMALL. HAVE THE RAILWAY WORKERS SEARCHED ALONG THE LINES FOR YOU AND ANY NOOKS AND CRANNIES ON AND NEAR THE STATION. I JUST HOPE SOMEONE HAS FOUND HER AND WILL SEE A POSTER.

There is absolutely no news of Lola. It would be great to know just that she is safe somewhere, wherever she is.

I took a train into Edinburgh Waverley on Saturday for Christmas shopping I scanned the rail line as went, cant say I saw any posters but then it was heaving... I wonder if giving out posters to Big Issue sellers might reap some rewards, still praying she will be safe x
dewilliams42
ANY NEWS? IM HOPING SOMEONE HAS TAKEN HER IN OUT OF THE COLD.
dewilliams42
WERE THERE ANY TRAINS IN THE STATION-COULD SHE HAVE JUMPED ON ONE. SHE COULD BE HIDING ANYWHERE AND WITH HER COLOURING COULD BE DIFFICULT TO SPOT. DO WISH I LIVED NEARER TO HELP SEARCH BUT IM IN WALES. MY DOG IS TINY AND I KNOW HOW SCARED SHE WOULD BE. PRAYING SHE WILL BE FOUND SOON.
DogLostLostdogs ScotlandSable - Regional Co-ordinator - Scotland
Anyone who is willing to search - PLEASE do so. she will not have gone far surely.

Searches have been done but nothing has turned up as yet.She is so tiny that she could be missed. Poor wee thing must be terrified..Posters are out everywhere in the area, but no news so far.
dewilliams42
SHES SO SMALL SHE COULD BE WEDGED INTO A HOLE/CREVICE AT THE STATION. HAVE THE RAILWAY WORKERS BEEN ABLE TO GET ON THE LINE AND SEARCH? SHE MUST BE PETRIFIED AND I DO SO HOPE SHE WILL BE FOUND QUICKLY. ITS ALSO MUCH TOO COLD FOR THESE SMALL DOGS TO BE OUT IN THE OPEN. STAY SAFE LOLA X

This is so worrying, its really cold tonight, if this little one got on the tracks she could be anywhere and how would she get off the tracks... You just have to hope that she did and someone scooped her up - Edinburgh city centre must be full of people just now

Lola has bolted from the car and gone right onto the railway tracks. She is a rescue dog from Many Tears and was just going to her foster home. She will be very frightened. Please help if you are in the area, to poster and search.Last edited: 2011-11-29 11:10:30 by Sable - Regional Co-ordinator - Scotland

Sorry to see that LOLA is missing.
  • If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
  • Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
  • A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (34889)
  • Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
  • You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
  • Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
  • If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
  • If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
  • Keep us updated by keeping your dog's page up to date and check for posts from helpers who may have suggestions and possible matches or sightings
  • DogLost is free and anyone asking for money to find or return your dog is not volunteering for us. If you are concerned about an approach you have received, please email admin@doglost.co.uk
