- Phoebe has been found at last. She went into a lady's garden and was caught there. She still had her collar anad tag on so the finder called the owner and Phoebe is home. She is about to get a bath and has had a lovely meal as she was very hungry.

- found your dog yesterday 26/11/11 in the field off damshot cres, was in a poor state was sitting in the high grass so missed her going into field but saw her on the way out tried to catch her but she was very nervous and walk away under a bush was hold ing her feet up contacted the sspca went home to get some food and blanket but sspca phone so came straight back she was still sitting under the bush but as soon as she saw up she ran we followed her but the sspca officer said that she would find her own way home and that there wasnt much wrong with her if she could run i felt very unhappy with this decision so have contacted as many dog walkers in the area to keep a look out this was about 11.45 and we left field about 12.30

- The park rangers, heavy horse people and the Police dogs in Pollok park all have posters up. Pollok and Govan police and SSPCA Cardonald all know she is missing. More posters in the windows of shops at Damshot and Corkerhill. More will go up tomorrow when I get more ink and plastic sleeves.

- Today Saturday 26th Nov Phoebe was seen by 3 people on Damshot Crescent in Pollok/Bellahouston close to waste land on the West side of the M77, and the South side of the White Cart river. She was seen running along Damshot towards Corkerhill Rd at 11 am approximately and may have found her way back to Pollok Park. Search will commence tomorrow between the lane from Haggs Rd along the south of Pollok golf club.

- Thanks Carol. I thought there would have been loads of posters out there. Hundreds need to be put out there. It is extremely important. They may have been removed or have blown away of course.

- we had a drive round pollok park 630'ish but nothing. can the dog walker or someone please post exactly were she went missing from and which way she went?
this is a busy park you may have already done so but i would poster and contact Pollok House, The horse stable at dumbreck, golf course at dumbreck, gate house, burrell, police training ground at dumbreck enterence, dog training ground, landservices at the heavy hourse stables.
also any doggy person seeing one of these dogs would no they must be lost so she may have been lifted so check police and cardonald cat & dog home.
i work all day so not much help but no a lot of dog people in bella park you could poster there as well.
but area would be good however she may have left park by now so a direction would help! - 2011-11-24 10:25 carol

- The following comment was left in response to our Facebook post yesterday:
"Heard on Radio Scotland today (lunchtime) that a motorist hit a dog on M77. The dog appeared to be ok, fortunately."
Never heard it myself though. Hope Pheobe is OK, if she's the Airedale I think she is, we have met her many times in Rouken Glen during our own walks.
Will also spread the word around the Glen.Last edited: 2011-11-24 10:04:44 by Wizzyvid - 2011-11-24 09:20 carol
