Ms Doberton
Excellent news, very pleased for you.
Neighbark
Oh thank goodness. I am so very happy for you. What a nightmare this has been for you and poor Scooby. When things get closer to normal and she's feeling better, would you please consider chipping her and maybe getting her tummy heat-stamped with a visual number (tattooing). I wonder how she got so far away, poor little thing.
Suziewoo
Another amazing story! I'm so pleased that Scooby is back home with her loving family. She will be warm, loved & cared for so hopefully you will all enjoy a happy Christmas. Good luck to all of you xxx

what amazing news, and found so far away from home... this poor dog has obviously been subject to so much abuse in the time that she has been missing, i hope her mental scars heal soon..... have just talked to her delighted owners and they want to thank everyone for all the support that they have been given.....

I looked on the found dogs this morning and the cairn terrior found on 06.12.11, looked very much like my girl.....after many telephone calls with the kennels and dog warden We drove to Hertfordshire and guess what......found our girl....very thin, very nervous but I would regonise those eyes anywhere, with confirmation from my husband that this was our dog...Home we came with our beloved Scooby...Thank you so much all for your support and understanding....its a miracle, I really thought I would not see my dog again! She needs a lot of love and understanding and alot of food she is going to be fine. This website is fantastic! thank the lord for that we got our girl back! x
zen

Hae you thought about contact your local schools to see if they would help, children see and hear a lot. Offer a reward that would go into school funds.

Mentioned and described Scooby to one of the vets I work with as they live in the Woodchester area. They will also keep a look out.

bumped due to media coverage, hope this brings some news of this lovely dog good luck
loulabelle
Thank you all....I have put a advert in the paper so hopefully this may jogg memories if they have seen scooby anywhere. My fear is she has been taken away and collar has come off and then she will be dumped no one will know who she belongs too and she will be rehomed.
Ms Doberton
Loulabelle, don't lose heart, she is a terrier after all although I understand your desperation. I have postered the fields around Draycott, Cam as I believe she may have been sighted in Coaley by my dog walker.
Mollychops
Well done Loulabelle, you are doing great, Its very disheartening, when there is no news. Have you tried putting something in the local papers?I will catch up with you later on
loulabelle
Still without my girl, have done everything, rang all vets, kennells, police, dogs homes put posters up, spoke to all neighbours rang a pet phychic. am really desperate for any news as its now over a week that she has gone missing. Ihave a terrible feeling i will never see her again... any furhter ideas anyone, i am desperate?
howler
I am so sorry to read about Scooby. I live in Cam, but my children go to school in Nympsfield. Many of the local parents walk dogs in the fields up there, so I will put the word out in the playground then as they are walking they will be on the lookout.
zen
loulabelle, you are doing a great job, the area is so rural that a sighting of her may take some time. have you informed all local land owners, and put up posters in woodchester park?
loulabelle
Thank you everyone for your help and support in the search for scooby.....I am quite desperate now and in despair as to think of where my girl is?? how long can dogs be missing for before they are found? thank you all
zen
know this area well, its quiet rural, will help in anyway i can.

Scooby ran off at Tinkley Lane with a lurcher but didnt come back. Owner has started postering, and has contacted Teckells, local rescue to her. She has gone to ground before chasing rabbits. But owners cant hear anything over the rabbit holes atm . I will email out advice sheets etc .
