I am so happy for you & Bilbo! Been offline for a bit & couldn't find him in the lost section so pleased to hear he's home again! Sure you'll have him fattened up again in no time. Yipeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

What wonderful news! It broke my heart reading all the posts as it brought back all the awful memories of last summer when we lost Poppy. We do not let Poppy off the lead now and have attached a wrist strap to the handle of the lead to ensure she cannot pull it out of our hands as she did on that fateful Friday last August. So very happy Bilbo is home safe and sound.

We've got Bilbo back!!! He was found today at Minions. He is very skinny but otherwise seems healthy. He's had some food and drink and is warming up under a blanket. Thank you to everyone who has helped in the search for our boy. We now need to get him settled in and fattened up. We can't quite believe it.

Not a fan of the hunt,( Love the dogs ,Love the horses ),but fingers crossed as you say they may flush little Bilbo out. Come on Bilbo get those little legs running & get home soon.

Andy look at Sarah's posting she lost Poppy down hole for 19 days & she was found near to hole there is still good chance he will turn up so please stay positive & don't give up yet. Please everyone keep looking & like idea of displaying posters in cars as more people that we can reach the more help we can get

Hi LoopyLurcher, yes we put some posters at Golitha at the weekend. That is one of his other favourite places - not rabbits but squirrels!
pamelamcnamara - yes we have considered that but thanks for bringing it to the front of my mind again! The trouble is, there is such a labyrinth of rabbit, badger and mine tunnels etc that unless we hear him to locate him, we can't really do a lot. I'm just hoping he has popped out somewhere, that he is finding some food and that at some point somebody kind will find him and call us or even better, that he'll be on my doorstep when i get home.

Might be worth putting a poster up at Golitha Falls as loads of dogwalkers go there & is vaguely on his way home. I meant to put my last poster there on Sunday but didn't get over there so is displayed in my car atm. We all hope he hasn't gone down a mineshaft.

Have you considered he may have gone down a mineshaft? There are lots of small holes like that on the moor up there?

Thanks everyone. We were up there as well for much of the day and we spread the area of search out as well, towards Sibbleyback. Not sure what to think really - we'll keep hunting in the hope he is around and if still underground, that he pop out soon.

Please everyone don't give up on little Bilbo keep looking & passing the word round about him being missing. I have posted to all my friends on facebook as many have friends that live near, also have emailed some companies in the area to see if they can print & put up posters asking staff to keep eye out. Really need this little fella to be home soon

Feeling so useless being to far away to help. Thank You everyone thats helping Andy & Nicky look for little Bilbo. Have been told a Badgers set could have 20 or more holes so maybe as Smokinglabrador says he may of popped out somewhere else. The more people that know of Bilbo the better as maybe someone picked him up not realizing he belongs to someone. Dont give up hope Andy & Nicky & we are all praying & hoping your little man will be home soon xx

We walked up behind the heritage centre, then up towards Cheesering, to the right of the quarry, back along the railway track and then all around The Hurlers. There were initially lots of people aroung the stones so we headed right hoping maybe he had popped out somewhere else.

I haven't tried the pensilva kennels - good idea, just in case he had got out of the hole.

Went up around lunchtime, looked around & asked everyone I saw to look too. Met BilbosDad who gave me some posters which I distributed around the area so hope more people will be keeping their eyes skinned. One chap I spoke to from Darleyford said his missing dog turned up at the Plymouth pound so suggest sending/emailing them a poster & checking in person.

I've been up this morning - no sign or sound of my boy. Had a good walk around for an hour or so calling for him. No indication that he or anything else (badgers) have eaten the food we have put out for him. Keeping fingers crossed though - we'll be going up again later taking our pasties - the smell of pasties usually gets his attention! Fingers crossed.

Hi I am Bilbos owner along with Nicky my wife who registered initially. I have just read through things - thanks for all the offers of help and to 'Kolesy' for her encouragement and attention on here. We will be up at minions again tomorrow. We just haven't seen or heard any sign or noise from him. He was last seen around 150m north-west of the heritage centre in a large mound. From the stone cricles it is about 400m north (ish). We're not sure if he may have migrated under-ground. We're trying to stay positive but it is really difficult. We've notified everyone including the dog warden - although the service has reduced due to cut-backs. Thanks again and possibly will see 'smokinglabrador' & 'loopylurcher' tomorrow.

Hi Smokinglabrador, I dont live in Cornwall but Nicky said its about 100yds from vistors center towards the Hurlers. She will be there as she is every day. Nicky is well known as The Cow Lady (Due to her paintings) Bilbo has gone down hole in Badger set. They will be really grateful for any help. Thank You

Try to stay positive. We lost Poppy, our border terrier, for 19 days last year. We think she got stuck in a rabbit hole - she was found very near to where she went missing. She was thinner but otherwise fine. Hope you find Bilbo soon.
