Local vets have rung to say that Max was brought into them and is now with the local warden...they are not getting a response so have asked ashmark to text owners with contact detail of the local vets....looks like another one ready to switch to blue....

We are fairly certain that Max is in holding kennels waiting until Monday when the Dog Warden is back. I have spoken to owner and also Kier Harlow who work on behalf of council over the weekend. Keir has yet again been giving out incorrect information to anyone reporting a lost or found dog. Had a heated discussion as both I and Max's owners were told the dog wardens no longer exist in Harlow. This is not the first time, but I am hoping after my talk it will be the last! I am contacting the dog warden and Harlow Council on Monday and will ask them to make it clear to Kier what the law is regarding lost dogs. Max has a special identification on him, and the dog that was found has this too. On that basis, it is Max. He was found in the area he lives and handed into Kew Vets at the town centre. From there we believe he was given to the Dog Warden. It is also possible that someone at the vets still has him for the weekend? Have advised owners of both possibilities. We will not move into the blue until owners has him in hand, literally.

It is possible Max is with the dog warden - but not certain. There is a dog fitting his description that was found last night in Harlow and I was informed he was given to dog warden. Will make further enquiries.
