- I know it says below that Teckels have been postered but they have a Lurcher that is similar. Think they may have had him longer than Jack has been missing but worth a look?

- Just managed to have a good luck of this dog and really don't think it is Jack, face is not darker. LurcherMadd Buysell Orswap - can be found on Facebook. Not a very nice page always selling lots of different dogs. There is a Lurcher cross on there, description not a good match but picture similar, might be worth looking at. Sorry couldn't post a link to this page as not a 'friend' Good luck x Last edited: 2011-11-20 23:19:34 by BBKM

- Saw the posters up in our fields this morning. I saw a dog answering that description, probably the day it went missing, trotting down the pavement towards Dursley near the police station in Kingshill. It was not on a lead and I so wished now that I had stopped and tried to catch it but I am afraid I assumed its owner was nearby. It did not seem worried.

- spoke to friend of owners, this dog was chained to a caravan that was parked on a grass verge, when the owner returned the dog was missing, its thought that the dog was either stolen or released as the D screw on the chain was strong so someone must have opened it...this was near vale vets area... email offering advice has now been received...

- Really sorry to hear about Jack.
I walk the fields in Cam twice a day, so will keep a look out and will alert other walkers I meet. My Mum walks the fields between Taits hill and Field Lane, and my brother walks on Stinchcombe Hill daily, so will get them to keep an eye out too.
Where about in Dursley did he go missing? I can alter my walks to nearer the area if I know. - 2011-11-06 01:04 zen

- If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
- Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
- A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (34057)

- If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
