Beautiful Fly - welcome home ! you didn't deserve what those bad bad men did, and you must have suffered, but I hope that all the love you get now helps put those bad experiences well behind you. Ask you mum to get you chipped and tattood on your tummy, then everyone can see you belong to someone!

I'm so pleased this little one is back, the photo of her curled up with the tiny pup captured my heart because she looked so gentle. Well done to the finder, and I hope his dogs are found very soon.x

Just had the phone call we have been waiting for, FLY IS BACK HOME!!!!
A friend of the owner who also had his dogs taken has managed to trace and return Fly, unfortunately his own are still missing. Welcome home Fly, off to get a chip now I hope. X

bath cats and dogs home do a fab job but its always best to go take alook for yourself as my dog was lost a couple of years ago i rang them lots of times askin if my brindle staffi had been handed in was told no so decided to go and look for myself and hey presto there he was but described as a german shephard cross!!! i do hope it is fly and hope she is returned to you a.s.a.p x

Owners had a call yesterday to say that Fly is in kennels in Bath but after speeking to Bath C & D home and both dog wardens that cover the area there is still no trace of her. Please can anyone in the area who knows of any other kennels to contact please call the numbers on her page. They are so worried about her and the fact that she may be rehomed before they can trace her whereabouts.

Different region but is it worth noting that Nudge (33788) now reunited was also picked up by three men in a white transit van?
was any part of the registration number obtained?

Just contacted owner with a long shot - bit of an oddity worth investigating. There is a female Lurcher called Fly who looks very similar in our local Pound, picked up as a stray. Pic here under dogs searching for a new home: http://rescuecentral.webs.com/apps/photos/ It is possible Fly was taken out of the area with her name & microchipped by someone else as it does say owner aware so they've contacted someone. Very long shot but worth a look. Kennel's number:01254 871913. I do hope she's home soon.xxx

Sorry to hear the three greyhounds are still missing. I am trying to find out more info about the false rumour that they had been returned. Hope they are all home soon, safe & well including Fly.

Just found the details of the Greyhounds stolen from Poole a little while back. I know they were recovered quite quickly. Maybe worth giving the owners a call & having a chat to see if they can help? Sounds very similar circumstances & details!
URGENT: 3 GREYHOUNDS STOLEN from garden, Poole, Dorset on 7/09/2011 at 3pm by 3 men in white ford transit van, 26" red 2 tone bitch (mask on face), 27" white dog (faint lemon spots), 25" lemon white bitch 7 yr old mother of these 2 (has pieces missing from both ears & a scar on middle of face, scar on front right leg & has black spots on her underbelly) Much loved - any info please contact 07796433019... Good Luck. Hope Fly is reaturned safe & well soon. I will share her details with all my houndy friends.

There was a similar incident a few weeks back in nearby Poole. 3 Lurchers stolen from a garden by several men in a white transit...... Seems sus! The dogs were recovered very soon after they went missing hope this is the case for Fly. :-( Will share on FB & see if I can dig out the details of the other incident.

I have put Fly forward for Countrymans Weekly magazine but probably wont be in till mid November. Lets hope she is back home before then.

Spoken to the owners, the blue peugeot has now been ruled out, he was questioned by a friend of the owners yesterday and he witnessed 3 men carry Fly to a white transit type van. This was all done in daylight, while the owners were in another room these men walked into the kitchen and took Fly.
