Now have 30+ posters up around the area, will be putting another 20 up today further out of the area she went missing. Local vets have details, all early morning people have been made aware as well as shops and takeaways in the area.

Tony, if she hasn't been picked up she'll probably be looking for food and water. Make sure any shops that have bins at the back of their premises know about her so that they don't shoo her off if they see her. Also what day is dustbin day? If people put their bags out overnight she may come out when it's dark and quiet to find something to eat. Get posters to any early morning people, milkmen, postmen, dustmen etc. If she's scared she might stay holed up somewhere during the day and come out and about more very late/very early. Hopefully someone has picked her up and will see a poster soon. I know it's a difficult time but keep busy and work your way through everything, it will help keep you positive. We all want to see her back home soon XX

Thank you both Lizzy and Sue for your help and advice. It is really helpful especially as we're absolutely distraught and can't think straight at the moment.

Spoken to owner, Tinkerbell is tagged. Advised owner on a few things to do to help him find her. She ran away yesterday at around 3.00pm and has not been seen since. RSPCA are aware of her missing. Owner needs to start postering asap and to conact Highways Agency and also Railtrack as there is a railway close by. Liz xxLast edited: 2011-10-27 15:53:14
