Tyson is home...he had been stolen and sold on for 150 pounds. New owner took him to the vets and they scanned him....

I hope this gorgeous little boy is found soon. If the owner has been notifying local dog wardens, shelters, vets, etc, can I suggest that if they have said Dogue de Bordeaux to them that they advise them that Tyson is in fact not that but a SBT X. As Jytte said, I don't believe Dogues de Bordeaux come in any other colour than ginger (like Hooch from the film Turner & Hooch).

Have tweeted him on Twitter - good crowd of doggy people on there who spread the word around. Dog/animal charities are on there too so the word can be spread nice & far. Hope you find him soon: poster like crazy; make the dog 'too hot to handle' so if anyone has him, they'll have to bring him back/give him to a vet/rescue charity & if he's hiding under a bush (where my dog was when he was first discovered, but we still didn't get him back for another 8 weeks), people will see the posters & be more likely to keep a beady eye out for any pups being where they're normally found etc... Very best wishes. x

Have spoken to owner and we are now going to change the breed to SBT x as its more likely to be that sort of dog although owner was told it was a Dogue de Bordeaux.

Is the breed correct ? D de Bordeaux are brown or reddy brown, not black. If I was looking for a D de B I would not be looking for a black one ?
