Not long got home to the fab news Milo has been found and is back home.

WELL DONE and THANK YOU to his finder who has been looking after him and to EVERYONE from the above group who has been out looking for him especially going out in the freezing weather and to those who shared his details, you are all STARS.

Have great pleasure in uploading a REUNITED photo of him back home, he will be sleeping for England now. He is o.k. and has not been injured too much. Welcome HOME Milo sending you a great big hug and cuddle. x

Just had a txt confirmation from Milo's owner that he was found a couple of hours ago and thank you to DogLost for all their help. Its a bit late to call for more info on where he was found but he is ok.

Ive just seen this post on FB....

A guy picked him up all wet and cold and took him to his boat. He's home now and having a sleep...

I've been alerted via facebook that Milo has gone missing again and could be injured. He ran off after getting into a fight with another dog. After he was last found he was CHIPPED which is great, hope he is found soon and is o.k. x

So pleased Milo is back home and is now CHIPPED maybe an idea he now gets NEUTERED and definately has an upto date ID tag. I’m in work today and not had chance to check with Halewood RSPCA to see if he was in there, great he was handed in to a vet. WELL DONE and THANK YOU to his finder. Last time Milo went missing he was handed into Halewood RSPCA by the Out of Hours AW. He is a known escape artist. If found in the area he has gone missing he will be taken to Halewood RSPCA again or if out of the area possibly Cheshire Dogs's Home. I'll contact owner and email info/advice again which includes contact numbers for the area. x

Thank you Ashmark, i have changed to collie cross, thats what he was on his other page.
Regarding my chat to Milo's owners, it seems that he just bolts if hes not watched, like this time. They have been down to the Halewood RSPCA but hes not there, they have contacted the Dog Wardens and he is logged as missing on AW site. They are going to contact vets tomorrow and also check with Halewood RSPCA again too, i have advised them to also knock on some neighbours doors which they haven't done. When Milo bolts he just runs and runs, he's been found 4 miles away before.
I found a possible match for Milo on AW site and given the ref number to the owner while i was speaking to her, she was going to ring straight away, i also sent them his photo.

I called into Halewood RSPCA yesterday and checked on Milo. When liaising with owner I did strongly recommend they get him CHIPPED by the kennels BEFORE taking him home, it is not the first time he has gone missing. It was very busy yesterday in the kennels so I did not get chance to ask if he had been chipped. Owner did not ring back to confirm he was home. :(

Yes it was MILO, I've just spoken to Halewood RSPCA and he is in there, owner has been in touch but not picked him up yet. I did have a missed call very early this morning (6.50am) from owner, have tried to ring back but no answer at the moment. I'm in work and once we know he has been picked up he can be move to the REUNITED. So pleased he is safe. xxx

Regarding the out of date mobile contact number on his collar - have you tried phoning this number, and if its been allocated to someone new, then explain the problem - and give them the new mobile number. Worth a try....

Have registered the details on behalf of his owner, someone posted his missing details on Facebook and I've checked the AW site and there is a possible match of a found BC.

I've spoken to owner and passed details on of the found, they have been unable to contact the AW. He was reported to the AW within half an hour of going missing, I've checked and cannot see any registered missing details of him.

Keeping everything crossed it is him and he back home tomorrow. Have advised they get him CHIPPED by Halewood RSPCA when they pick him up (that is where he would of been taken if finder has not kept him). x
