How is Tessa doing now? How is her eye?

How is Tessa? Where did she spend Xmas?

So Kind of you unicandy even though its a long way!! (I will let Kym know just in case!!) X

I know Im a bit of a way out, but if nothing else materialises, I would be more than happy to foster Tess until Kym can take her again. Im in South London, so I know its a very last resort for you - but the offers there.

This poor little dog kept me awake worrying about her last night. She would be unhappy with me, got 2 dogs, one snappy, and long car journey. I would have her in a shot if not for my dogs, and cat. I would LOVE to hear that THAT 'uncaring home' who caused all this - would make an 'out of policy' decision, and NOW allow Tessa to stay with her mum Marie for Xmas. What joy they would both have. Could the children have her to stay with them? It would be SO nice if she could stay with those she loves and knows.
Unknown
Sorry I can't help, I have 2 dogs of my own plus my Dog for the Disabled puppy and my dad is in hospital with pneumonia but I do hope you can get her somewhere for Christmas. Liz xx
Beanie245
Kym advised that the family have decided not to go ahead with the eye op for now as the vet has found some growths which need to be assessed although Tessa appear's well they feel she has been through enough this side of Christmas but will monitor her condition.
Hope someone can find a warm cosy spot for a few days and help Tessa to have a Happy Christmas!!
Please post asap with contact if you can help Kym and Tessa XXX Last edited: 2011-12-21 17:47:40 by Angus

Thanks Jackie, yes you are spot on - ideally someone local to Northampton area - Kym has visitors with dogs and Tessa is not coping well and Kym has asked for help, i will try and find out about the eye assesment results
Jackie
Has Tessa still got her own facebook page...and the other question, Tessa's in Northampton isn't she so you would want somebody local to foster till Kym visitors go home...have I got it right as I will share on my facebook page.... hope you get someone pretty soon to help with this Angus. Does anyone know how her eye assessment went on the 12th and how she doing, would love to hear how she is I often think of her .... Merry Christmas to you all love Jackie xxx
DogLostAngus
Can anyone local help ?

Due to Marie being in the care home a local foster home may be needed until 9th Jan - can anyone help at all - normal arrangements are difficult due to visitors to Kym who has been looking after Tessa

More than happy to send a bit more Beanie, but wondered if the care home that has caused all Tessa's suffering have found it in their heart to offer to make a decent donation towards her treatment. Do we make cheques out to Vets Now and are they going to really, really kind as they were before and keep costs to a minimun. Bless her she really has been through the mill, and still she looks happy.
Beanie245
Kym has just notified that Tessa needs to have her eye removed as further checks have shown that it is ulcerated!! this will cost a further £400 but is absolutely essential... everyone has been wonderful and do not like to ask again but if you can make a small donation as Tessa and family need us!!
Updated story and reunited pic will be in the Northampton Chronicle tomorrow... hopefully a few more donations will be received to cover extra cost of the above operation... Thinking of you Tessa XXX
Beanie245
That is fantastic news!! Go Tessa XXX

I have tears in my eyes looking at this beautiful picture of Tessa and Marie - together again after everything they have both been through in the last two weeks - It is so clear that Tessa adores her Mum and the feeling is mutual.

This is big society at its very best - Doglost Helper Beanie245 who were ( Mum & Daughter double act) in the right place at the right time and as we know will fight so hard to help others - you have made this possible - To everyone who has sent donations and well wishes - you have made this possible - The vet team who have been outstanding - you have made this possible - and lastly but most important the two young men who did not walk by as many others may have done and their kind lady driver who got Tessa to the vets in time to save her life.

DogLost - Run by Volunteers who think 'DOG'

xxxxxxx

With this is mind can everyone please keep their eyes peeled for Beanies dog Tucker who is still missing in NN6 area - please share his page with everyone that you know ..

Heartfelt wishes from me too...... Jo xxx
Neighbark
Yes Kym - thanks for the update. You can see how we are all so upset for Tessa and the rest of her family, so please do keep updating. Will she be able to be taken to see Marie again? Dogs ask for so little, and she clearly loves and misses her owner. I DO hope that when/if Tessa can be taken for another visit...that the people who shoved her out that night,- and the manager - can all see the consequences of their cruel heartless actions. Meanwhile, I wish nothing but healing and happiness for that wonderful little dog, and her family. God bless you all. x
Jackie
Lovely picture of you and your mum Tessa...you look just like I imagined you would...hope you are feeling much better today and hopefully you'll be home by Monday...thinking of you all love Jackie..xx oh and I'm so glad you didn't loose your eye as well xxx
Beanie245
I am with all of you with regards to the Care(not) home but obviously Marie Tessa's owner is very poorly and relies on them daily for her needs hence the reluctance to name and shame at her families request, their rule 'that dogs are allowed if accompanied' should have been bent backwards for Marie's and Tessa's sake .... Its very difficult for them as you can imagine.
Although I am sure a word in the Manger's ear will be forthcoming... along with a strongly worded letter to HO... Also the RSPCA surely they can not keep letting this kind of thing happen they should forget the big offices's and use peoples donations for what they are intended for... the animals.
jobadger
Thanks for the update on Tessa, Kym. I'm so pleased she's doing so well - it's amazing how dogs get things together. Please give her a gentle hug - and one for you and the children and her mum! It's a difficult time for all of you. Jo xx
dewilliams42
SOME CARE HOMES ALLOW PETS TO VISIT-ITS ESSENTIAL FOR BOTH PETS AND OWNERS. ITS ALSO VERY GOOD THERAPY. I THINK ALL CARE HOMES SHOULD AFTER ALL ITS A SECOND HOME FOR MANY.
kym
we,ve just been to see tessa, she is doing realy realy well, very happy to see me and the children. she is up walking around with drip for the pain, eating and drinking well, hopefully she'll be home monday. thanks everyone.x oh the care home will be delt with, our main aim is to get tessa home first. we will be talking with them next week Last edited: 2011-10-22 12:29:08 by kym

I'm sure the care home must be aware of the general feelings regarding their actions - and 'I'm sorry' and a sizeable donation wouldn't go amiss. It would be nice to know exactly what they've done about the situation. I realise that it must be difficult for her mum and the family being there - but surely someone must take responsibility for this? I'm surprised the paper didn't name and shame - or even ask for comment. Tessa - you're gonna get through all of this - you're one brave loving little girl! xx
Ash
I think this care home should be named and shamed as if it were not for their heartless act this beautiful dog and her family would not have to be going through this, to lose her leg at her age it just awful, they should be responsible for picking up the bill for tessa, i cant imagine how her mum must feel about these people now. I just hope that tessa rallies and enjoys the rest of her life with her family, keep this at the top as i too will be more than happy to donate again should it be needed. God bless you all and get well soon tessa, your one special lady. xxx
Neighbark
I have just read the newspaper article - there's NO mention of Tessa being put out of the care home and left to fend for herself, - it just jumps from the dog arriving at the care home..... to being found on the kerb. This is very disappointing - WHY were the very people who caused this to happen - not even mentioned/shamed ? I can only think that this relevant piece of information has been left out to avoid embarrasing them, or making things 'difficult' for Tessa's owner. This makes my blood boil. Just as well I live so far away, because I would seriously want to go and talk to the owner/managers of the care home. THEY should be held accountable for their heartless, thoughtless actions. THEY should pay for Tessa's treatment. It must be very difficult for Tessa's owner living there now. There's a serious amount of pain and suffering been caused to that little family and their lovely Tessa....and the 'care home' looks like getting away scott-free. I notice they have never actually been named.....
jobadger
What a lovely photo! You are one special little girl Tessa! Fabulous article in the Chronicle. I'm very pleased Tessa has not lost an eye and very grateful for all of the people at the vets who have stood in her corner to be counted. She may not be out of the woods yet but she is one brave little fighter who I'm sure will pull through. Everyone's rooting for you gorgeous - you can do it - stay strong! Jo xx
Have any excuses been forthcoming from the people at the care home?
Had to wait to send a donation - pay day tomorrow but a cheque has gone in the post tonight.
Unknown
Yes I am happy to send another donation as well.
Stay strong Tessa take care poppet we are all rooting for you xxxx

As for the RSPCA well I could say a lot I know and it would be the absolute truth nothing but rubbish they do not care one bit about an animals welfare pts is their policy (I better shut up now and yet I so want to type what I know)
The staff at the so called care home should be ashamed of themselves all it would of taken is one phone call I cannot believe what they did and the suffering they have caused Tessa and her owners Shame on the lot of them.
Beanie245
Marie Tessa's owner can not thank you all in person but I think you will agree the pic says it all..
Just Spoken to Lesley (night staff operated by 'Vets Now') who was on duty the night Tessa arrived and has personally championed Tessa's cause along with Esther the vet who operated on Tessa today for Vet Saver's, they say that although Tessa is not out of the woods yet but she is bright, comfortable and has eaten.. trust both companies will be negotiating how they can help to ease the costs which I feel you will agree would be a generous, understanding approach towards Tessa's well deserved recovery.
Victoria, Ok you say your only the receptionist but it must be said brilliant at keeping us posted..if only all receptionist were like you.
Mumstaxi..Will email you direct.. seems there is a big loophole in the system for unknown RTA's, in fact another five over that weekend, that we were not there for!!... and as we all know the RSPCA do not want to know.
Hi Jackie...Thankyou..Tessa has not lost her eye but will need ongoing permanent medication for which we aim to make funds available.
I know we will all be praying for Tessa tonight!!
mumstaxi
well hello tessa and tessas mum, she is just as i imagined her to be, i hope you are doing okay after your op, you are one strong lady, you certainly have a very special bond with your owner, bet you both give each other strength, i am sorry happy you are doing okay, stay strong tessa you deserve a very happy future your one special lady take care sweetheart xx

What a lovely photo of Tessa with her Mum. Her Mum looks so happy sharing a cuddle with Tessa and Tessa looks equally content on her Mum's lap. Even more reason to do all we can to make sure Tessa is well again soon. Well done the vets for putting Tessa's welfare first. There are so many people wishing you well Tessa - you are a very special little girl.
kym

Just checking in to see how Tessa is... so sorry about her leg, how did they get on with her eye, did she loose it... if you need any more towards the bill just put it back on here .... I'm sure most of us would willingly donate again... well done to the vets today, shouldn't have to wait to see if it can be done... thinking of you today Tessa, hope you are now awake and feeling slightly better...lots of love Jackie xxx
k9chum
Well done Esther for going ahead with Tessa's Operation. Red tape and H.O. permission should not even come into the equation if Tessa needs the op straight away. Her health and safty are paramount. Have read the notice board and the paper has done DOGLOST proud.I can't say the same for the care home or rspca. Hope Tessa makes a full recovery, have already donated by cheque but happy to add a bit more if need be.

Victoria the vet nurse who is giving her full support has given Tessa a big Kiss from you all and will be there waiting when she wakes up and has promised to keep us informed..

trying to get a link to the article from the Chronicle and Echo - the Paypal donations have reached £450, there have been many promises of cheques direct to the vets which we will have to wait for the vets to update us with totals - with the amputation her vet bill is likely to be around the £1000 mark plus any aftercare costs so we are well on our way but still need to raise some more - the call I took this morning is an offer of further financial help once we have a better idea of the cheque donations.
Neighbark
Hear hear jobadger! I wonder exactly what the RSPCA's policy is on RTA's, and I wonder if the person or person's who herded or carried Tessa out of the 'Care-not' home - have been named, and I sincerely hope they have been shamed! ....how much are the donations up to now Angus? - and can someone send a link from the newspaper article please?

Thanks Jayne x - just spoken with a lovely lady

The Northampton Chronicle and Echo should be covering Tessa's story today so will bump her for people coming to the site from the paper - sadly it looks as if Tessa is going to have to have that leg amputated so we will need to raise the money to cover her operation.
jobadger
I'm sorry about your leg Tessa - I'm so glad everyone pulled together to get you all through this.
As a matter of conscience, what HAS the care home had to say about their actions, I wonder - is it legal to turn a dog out onto the streets, without control, knowing where it's from and who owns it. I hold them as much responsible for Tessa's accident as the miserable uncaring coward who knocked her down and left her for dead.
Ash
I agree about the rspca, what a complete waste of space they are, their solution to an animal in distress is pts, i would never support these so called people. thank god for these kind people who found tessa, sad to hear she is going to lose her leg but much better than her life! Gog bless you tessa and the folk who love you, i too have sent a cheque to the vets which i hope will help towards your rehab. xxx
Beanie245
June.. Tessa's story is due in tomorrow's paper... keep a look out.
It seems the amputation is necessary but hopefully we can raise enough funds...media said they would include donation/doglost info along with the appalling way the RSPCA treated the cry for help from the two teenager's who found TEssa(pity they did not have a camera)...as we have found people really do care!!
Kym is doing her best to get a pic of Tessa on site so that you can all see her for yourselves!!
June
I've had a quick flick through the Chron but can't see anything but they have big coverage of the night club tragedy so perhaps have had to postpone the story. I hope Tessa is doing well and won't need an amputation.
slabcabbage
one brave little girl, get well sweetheart you have many friends on here at DogLost who are all rooting for you to get well a.s.p.
as for the "Care Home " I think they should take away the word CARE.and also be made to pay for the harm and distress they have done to the person ( Tessa's owner)who they are surpose to be caring for. and as for the RSPCA, well I would never expect any help from them unless there was T.V. camera's about. I wouldn't give them the drippings off my nose, sorry about that but I can't stand them. Just wish there was a way that the national papers get hold of this sad story, would sure open peoples eyes to how much the RSPCA really do care and help.
cheque on it's way. and big hugs to you Tessa.

Yes we will keep her near the top - the Chronicle & Echo should be carrying her story tomorrow so that will help with more fundraising especially if she needs the amputation x
Neighbark
Would it be possible to leave this one near the top for a few days - in order to attract more like-minded caring people's donations ? Or at least until its known whether the poor little girl will lose her leg? - in which case there will be another operation to pay for + after care of course!

I have just checked the paypal account - we have raised £410 which covers all the outstanding vets bills and will start towards the cost of the operation if Tessa has to have the amputation (which obviously we hope she will not need) I will liaise with Beanie245 & contact the vets to organize the payment of the outstanding balance - the vets will give us a tot up of the cheques received directly to them. If we end up with any surplus funds after all bills & continuing care costs this will be transferred to emergency funding account ready to help the next needy case.

I'm as angry as I'm sad.Sad for obvious reasons - the unquestionable loyalty and love that little dog has for her owner, but really angry toward the care home. Have they any idea about the consequences of their callous actions towards this little dog? Have they actually been asked WHY they didn't phone the owners to come and collect her? I do feel they should be asked to pay towards if not all of the vets bills-or would this admit liability? I doubt whether its illegal to shove a dog out of the front door even tho' you know its owner is ill inside (and probably very distressed and worried for her little dog), but in terms of a CARE HOME - u would think that 'caring people' work there........Not so. JUST TO SAY I HAVE JUST SENT A CHEQUE TO THE PDSA TO HELP WITH TESSA'S VET BILLS. HOPE SHE IS FEELING BETTER-WHAT A LOYAL LITTLE DOG SHE IS.
mumstaxi
thanks elaine for keeping me updated,i know a little about tessa and although i havent met her i think she is one little brave and intelligent dog who has strong bond with her owner and without everyones kind words and donations the result could have been so different, i would like to say a massive thank you to all of you for your help of donations and kind words. the actions of the care home involved and the rspca really are so very dissappointing.hopefully although the possibility of tessa having amputation tessas future looks safe and in time im sure she will adapt.a very BIG thank you to elaine for putting tessas welfare first and fighting her corner for her i have nothing but admiration for you,
DogLostreggiemollieros
Donated via paypal - should show up Elizabeth L White, hope it helps. x
Border Girl
Thank you for that information. A cheque is being sent to them today. Sending lots of healing thoughts to Tessa, lets hope they can save her leg.
k9chum
Beanie thanks so much for your e-mail, so nice to know that we sing from the same hymn sheet! Have now sent off donation to the PDSA and a short note about what a wonderful companion Tessa is and how devoted to her owner she is. Sounds syrupy but every little helps as they say. Best wishes to all concerned and I hope Tessa makes a full recovery and returns to her Mum.
Beanie245
PDSA/Vets Now staff Lesley and Victoria both contacted us this morning as promised... Like all of you they are doing all they can to help Tessa's cause... and are aware of the donation cheqs that will be arriving for Tessa, she is doing well and her leg will be assessed again by vet re the possibility of amputation (lets hope they do not have to though) A Big ThankyouX

Which paper will be doing an article on Tessa? Hope it gets to the nationals, and also has the donations address etc. I'm about to send to Paypal. Poor poor little doggie.
Beanie245
Thankyou to all you wonderful people.. I have replied to all who emailed me personally... To avoid any confusion Vets Now and the PDSA section are run from the same premises depending on owner's circumstances we are currently awaiting confirmation from Head Office re a concession to enable the donations to meet Tessa spiraling medical costs.. Begging they take into account this exceptional case and her owner's unfortunate circumstances.. awareness of the Dog lost community support(THats YOU), facebook exposure and media interest has all helped greatly in providing Tessa, her owner and family a lifeline.. So well done and huge thanks to you all PLEASE help if you can we can do this.. Tessa so deserves our support X

the info on the cheque payment has slipped down the page - thank you to everyone for caring for her

Cheques Payable to the PDSA (marked to Tessa terrier account)
Address is PDSA 1a monks pond st, Northampton NN1 2LF
k9chum
Border Girl,we must both be dense because I don't know who to make cheque out to or where to send it.
Border Girl
I should like to contribute towards Tessa's treatment, but it will have to be by cheque. Sorry to be dense, but reading Kym's posting am I right in thinking that although cheques are to be payable to PDSA, they are to be sent to the Vetsavers address marked for Tessa Terrier account? Just want to make sure the cheque reaches the right place.
What a loyal little dog Tessa is - my heart really goes out to her. She must have been so bewildered to be turned away from the care home, having found her way there. Shame on the care home and also the RSPCA. Lots of healing thoughts for her recovery.
DogLostAngus
we now have an amazing £160 in the paypal account - you are as ever an amazing group of people x

Its heartwarming to see that there are people out there like you willing to give helpless creature's the chance and the voice they deserve.

Shame on the rspca and the care home for their uncaring actions towards this little angel, i would too like to make a dontation towards tessas care, there is no way this precious little dog will be put to sleep if i have anything to do with it. I will contact the vets tomorrow and make my donation straight to them, god bless you tessa, and i hope that this story will attract a lot more of us doggie folk to pay for her treatment so that she is able to continue on with her life. xxx
k9chum
Oh no, We cannot let her be put to sleep just because she is old and the owner is not in a position to pay her bill. That would be to cruel after all this devoted little dog has been through. I do not have a paypal acc. but if anybody knows the address of Vets Now I will happily put a cheque in the post to them.
Beanie245
Please share Tessa's Link on Facebook... I have used the following heading as no pic of her YET!!
"FOUND DYING ON BUSY ROAD ... THIS DOGS DEVOTION TO HER OWNER HAS NEARLY COST TESSA HER LIFE... DONT LET THIS HAPPEN.. READ HER HEARTBREAKING STORY...OWNER IN HOSPITAL AND CAN NOT AFFORD TO GET HER BACK!!!

Promises coming in re chq's.. HUGE THANKS FROM TESSA

If you go into your own paypal account on the top bar is a tab that says 'send money' click on this and then type in tessaterrier@ymail.com in the 'to' box and the amount you would like to send and then underneath click the personal tab and tick the gift box and then click continue - I will update the donation amounts several times a day.
THANK YOU IN ADVANCE on behalf of TESSA & HER FAMILY

Thanks Beanie - we have already had £20 donated for Tessa's vets fees
Beanie245
Thanks to June... Newspaper have contacted us and the story will be in Thursdays paper!!
Due to the strong possibilty that Tessa is now going to need a front leg amputated...Due to lack of funds and her age vets say maybe better to put her to sleep!!!!!.... Therefor Angus ( of Dog Lost ) has kindly set up a paypal account in aid of Tessa- tessaterrier@ymail.com ... If ANYONE is able to contribute, even if only a couple of pounds towards her increasing vets fees, which her very ill owner cannot afford :-( Or chqs can be sent to Vets now payable to Tessa terrier account any further info needed or problems please email me laura@hfdesign.net .... THANKYOU all again for your kind concern x

A happy ending that this lovely old girl is loved and wanted; SHAME on the people at the Care Home who callously turned this little dog out instead of ringing family to come and get her!!!!!! CARE home???? you gotta be joking
June
I was so moved by the loyalty of Tessa that I have sent this link to the 'Chron'. It has everything, with the teenage boys who helped despite being snubbed by the RSPCA and the lady who helped them and the kind vet and of course the poorly owner and her faithful dog.Last edited: 2011-10-18 11:45:39 by June

Another amazing dog story, what a loyal and devoted dog.
If true further questions need to be asked about the RSPCA yet again; like most I am rapidly losing all faith in this organisation and indeed wonder if we should all start to lobby them for change and make our concerns more vocal and public.
Mal.

it just goes to show when people say "oh its just a dog" they have no idea what love and devotion they can share ... bless this little dogs heart
jobadger
Beanie - thank you for the update. I'm so glad Tessa is going back to her family - it is a newsworthy story and shows undoggy people how much dogs care and matter in our lives. Not good news for care home or RSPCA however, it would seem. Her owner must have been extremely upset that her loyal little girl was put outside. Surely they could have phoned the family to collect her? I'm sure there will be lots of offers of assistance if any of the animal charities don't come through for the family. I'm so glad you're on the mend, Tessa - the world would be a better place if people were more like you. Jo xxLast edited: 2011-10-18 08:35:07 by jobadger

What a beautiful loyal little doggie - what devotion to her owner, how clever finding her way. SHAME on the people who pushed her out! This story of devotion is very news-worthy, - I'm sure if it went to press there would be many donations sent to help pay for her medical treatment. Get well soon dear little doggie. x ...on the other hand - I would think the manager of the care home would probably think it prudent to pay the vet bill himself to keep it out of the papers!!!Last edited: 2011-10-18 00:40:20 by Neighbark

Tessa you are one amazing little doggie.Bless you.and very much shame on the nursing home staff for putting her on the street!!!!!,they could of called the family and kept her safe till the family came, such a shame what happened after that, poor girl didnt deserve that!sending lots of healing thoughts to you Tessa you lovely little girl.Stay strong now.XXX
dewilliams42
BEANIE, WHAT A SAD LITTLE STORY BUT WHAT DEVOTION THAT LITTLE DOG SHOWED TO FIND HER WAY TO THE CARE HOME. I HOPE SHE WILL BE ABLE TO GO HOME AS THAT IS OBVIOUSLY WHERE SHE WANTS TO BE. GLAD SHE IS ON THE MEND AND HOPEFULLY A VERY HAPPY ENDING.
Beanie245
All who have shown concern will be happy to know that 'Tessa' (originally a rescue) will be going back to her family!! It was due to her devotion to her very ill owner that she became involved in a RTA ...I thought you would all like to know the details as told to me.
Her owner of 6yrs who at only 45yo is suffering from MS and had to go to a care home for treatment leaving her two children and Tessa in the care of family who took them all to visit her at the care home last Sunday... On wednesday Tessa went missing miraculously she found her way this time by foot or should say 'paws' to the care home quite a way away and managed to locate her owner inside...although aware Tessa was the patients pet, care worker's put her outside as 'Dogs were not allowed inside'... The family rang later on the off chance and were told what had happened they searched everywhere having also been told that Tessa had been seen on the Thursday on her home Street... but to no avail.. contacted wardens, police etc. and even notified the PDSA vets on the Thursday in case she was brought in... Unfortunately on Friday night she was and badly injured but no one there made the connection ... happily with the help of caring finder's, VetsNow/PDSA night team, doglost support and mumstaxi the family have been found!!! The children are overjoyed and planning a sponsored event to help raise funds for Tessa's treatment(any help appreciated??), we are hoping the PDSA will take pity on her owner's position... described as a saint by her family and quite timid by nature has shown such devotion.. hopefully she has been rewarded by all those who cared and where even prepared to offer her a home if need be... Family are due to visit tomorrow(armed with pics etc) as were not allowed in to see her today because they did not have proof she belonged to them (the night staff who were aware of her plight were not around/the day staff could not help or should I say try to bend red tape rules..I had also phoned to inform them in advance but would not help me either even though its my contact details etc. on the dogs records/stating until owner is found!!) Thankfully the vet nurse Lesley and PDSA staff member Victoria who have stood by Tessa are on duty tomorrow and will hopefully sort out the red tape.... Tonight's evening staff did however confirm that she is comfortable and that owner's are welcome to visit... Will let you all know the outcome as soon as possible. How wonderful - So glad her owners have been searching for her! So pleased that those youngsters took it upon themselves to get help! IS THERE ANY CHANCE OF A PHOTO PLEASE.
Beanie245
Having spoken to Lesley (the vet that saved her) the full details are that this 'Golden Oldie' has fought for her life,,, Two 15yo lads found her(Who says the youth of today do not care!!!) at the side of the road unable to move and badly injured, they called the RSPCA for help only to be told NO.. after plea's from these two caring teenager's to passer's by two ladies took pity and transported her(arriving covered in blood) to 'Vets Now' Lesley stayed all night... I am told she has rewarded them with her will to live and is so obviously grateful for ALL their care and affection...if her owner is not found her fate is the pound for a limping injured Oldie that is usually death row... CYNTHO/ASH/DEWILLIALLIAM245 huge and grateful thanks..please contact via email link below she needs a safe haven within 5 days... I speak for her "Please save Me" ..
DogLostAngus
If anyone may be able to offer this little one a home if her owners are not found could you please drop Laura a line laura@hfdesign.net with some brief details of area, contact & any other pets and Laura can pass to the vets in one go rather than lots of people contacting the vets when they may be busy
Ash
Oh thank god she is doing ok, i live in northants and was so worried to see this poor old girl injured and in a bad way, i have been checking constantly for updates on her. I do hope she is reunited with her owners but if not i know that there are many of us who would offer this old lady a home, will keep checking for further news. Keep fighting sweetheart your in safe hands now and shame on whoever knocked this baby down and did not stop to help her. xxx
Beanie245
Hi Cyntho/dewilliams42.... THANKYOU for responding... Like us vet thinks she is an older persons dog not micro chipped but wearing a purple collar.. No tag
Can anyone close NN2 poster by the Cock Inn crossroads, School etc?????... just in case! I have no transport until Tuesday..

Thank you for the update Beanie245. Not the answer I was expecting, thank goodness. I'm so pleased she's coming on. Perhaps her owners are as elderly as she is and aren't too sure what to do - p'rhaps they'll be in touch on Monday.
Whoever hit her and left her - I hope you don't sleep at night for many months to come!
Beanie245
Have been in contact with 'Vets Now' today(16th Oct) and this little old girl is holding her own .. her owner's have not been traced as yet!!
