Sightings mean people are aware he's missing which is great! Keep postering, so many dogs are reunited cos someone sees one, did you let cabbies, postmen, dustmen in area aware? Hope radio and newspaper feature him, at least it seems he is still local.

Yes been more sightings harold park and also wibsey park although 1 seen in wibsey is identical but i a female trying news papers and local news ty
lesleyjane
Any more sightings? Totally agree with previous post as I've said before, local paper will really help spread the word. Keep postering too, someone must know where he is.

Need to get an article in the local paper as he is very distinctive. If he is effectively stolen (certainly hasn't been handed in as he should have been!) then report it to the police and get on to the Telegraph and Argus about doing a story on him. This will spread the word massively as the paper is read in a wide area.
lesleyjane
All I can suggest is the same as before, LOADS of posters especially in area he has been seen,in pubs is good too, can you get article in local paper, put flyers thro' doors in area, etc? Was it definitely Dexter who was spotted? Also, make people aware he may have had his collar changed over by now. Sorry, can't think of anything else, good luck.
nmaude72657

Oh, he's so cute, hope he is home soon. As advised, POSTER EVERYWHERE,if someone has him he must be made high profile and too hot to handle. Ask local postmen/dustmen/cabbies to look out for him and give posters to the local depots, bus stops and supermarkets are also good places to poster. Also local schools, kids love to help. Can you contact the local paper or radio station? Wish I was closer but you will get lots of help and advice on doglost. Good luck.x

Sorry to see that DEXTER is missing.
  • If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
  • Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
  • A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (32719)

  • Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
  • If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
  • If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
