- Sperrin has just arrived home. Very thin, bloodshot eyes but content. Fast asleep now in her bed. thank you so much to everyone who has helped to look for her.

- Thank you so much for all your support. Despite being the escapist queen she has never gone for so long before. All the local dog wardens know in 5 different council areas, friends have helped to put up posters in many local villages. More tomorrow. Thank you for all the messages of similar situations being re-united in the end. She has always been a very happy and loving dog.

- I know Sperrin well, I often see her when out walking my own dogs as she patrols the farmland to the rear of us and has spent a night at our house before we knew where she lived. I can look for her along the paths this evening - she is very friendly and very savvy, hopefully she is just sheltering somewhere from the rain

- Have emailed information and text to let Sperrins owner know but because I am at work today I won't be able to send posters & flyers or contact local dog wardens, resuces etc until this evening. I hope she is home by then. xx
