Such a shame. I hope this gives closure to someone. It's the not knowing that's the worst when our closest friends go missing. Rest in peace sweetie - you'll catch up with your family one day. xx

So kind of you to notify of this poor mite as someone somewhere maybe just needs to know!! All dog wardens etc. should register such incidents..Our search is a roller coaster and god forbid something like this happened to Tucker it would be devastating if we never found closure!!... So Thankyou for taking the time.

My daughter spotted this poor dog's body and reckoned it looked like a young yellow Lab. Bearing in mind it had obviously been in the river some time it's hard to be sure. I've spoken to the local dog warden so he's aware & I hope will at least scan it before the body's removed.

Please ensure that you notify your local Dog Warden and the local Police Station - in Scotland you MUST inform your local Police Station and if possible contact the Dog Warden also.
The found dog may have a Microchip or a Tattoo - please have the dog scanned and checked for a tattoo at a vet's so that owners may be contacted as soon as possible.
