So pleased that radley is suffering no ill effects from his adventure,.
I really don't know what it was I saw-a large black animal and NOT a deer.I gotr lost after walking the "yellow" trail and ended up on a very lonely, unused path that went on for ages,no people /walkers signs of life and past some sort of hut with a metal mast.Certainly won't venture that way again but what it was I saw,I truly don't know but see it I did!!

Hi everyone, just to let you know that the little fella shows no aftereffects from his little adventure, I on the other hand have very sore feet and legs, I worked out using GPS that I had covered 62 miles in those 2.5 days...quite scary!!

Which leads onto Lindy and her big cat sighting, that is a bit scary, I have spoken to several people and they hadn't heard of a sighting in those woods before, not sure I'll go down that trail anymore now and I'm glad he was found as I was going to camp out in the woods near the road last night if I hadn't found him during the day!!

Thanks again all.

This is wonderful news that Radley is home! Well done everyone! xxx Also interesting to read about the black panther! Lindy, you are one of the privileged few to see these big black cats. I am sure he was more scared of you. But you were very brave and you helped so much for Radley. x
Lindy
Amber-I am quite a rational person but wish that someone had been with me who had seen it-as truly don't know what it was, same size as my dog,x Beardie, just hope it isn't a black dog that is living rough ,definately not a deer. or a domestic cat,Truly spooked me,still at least we know Radley won't be it's dinner tonight!

I'm soooo glad to see this lil lad is home! Well done to all who looked, especially Lindy, who almost got eaten by a black panther in the process!!! xxx

Hi everyone, I'm Radley's owner and you'll be glad to know he has now been found:-) I was absolutely devasted when he went missing and I've spent so much time in the woods there over the last two days I nearly went native!!!

Anyway, Radley really handed himself in. He turned up at the kitchen door of the visitor's centre and they managed to scope him up. Because of the poor mobile signal in the woods they couldn't get hold of me, so a delivery man who had just made a delivery there took it upon himself to ring KLFM, the local radio station, who then fortunately managed to catch me in a brief moment when I had a mobile signal!!

So thank all you excellent people for the hard work and your kind thoughts, it really has been such a relief to have him back, as we had both convinced ourselves as we lost him on such a busy day that somebody had perhaps "scooped him up" and we would never see him again.

It does highlight also that putting up posters and involving as many people as possible makes such a difference, I`ve had phonecalls from people with advice and encouragement who have lost dogs themselves and it made a world of difference to my outlook on finding him as I wasn't convinced we would.

So thank you one and all, and now I have found this website I shall certainly be staying around, even though in this case it wasn't what found him but just to have the offer of support through what is a very upsetting experience made a whole lot of difference:-)

Thanks

Just back from 3 hours at Sandringham.it is heaving with people, kids and dogs.I walked round the yellow trail and then got lost on a long track through the woods, bordering the main road. There was a large black animal on the path ahead that disappeared into the undergrowth and frightened me witless as it is one of the lesser used paths. It wasnt Radley for sure,it looked like a large cat or a black dog crouching low, just couldnt see in the undergrowth and felt a bit nervous on my own to be honest.A few posters around and told everyone I met about Radley.it could be he has been picked up but Sandringham is vast and maybe worth a few posters up at the Sandringham flower Show tomorrow and the Camp Site.I am by bus ,as don't drive,so can't do much more today.and my printer is extinct at present.Fingers crossed he is found.

This is literally up the road from me, but I am working tomorrow unfortunately. I will try to get up there after work, but will also contact some of my doggy friends tomorrow during the day if I can.

Please ask the owner to ring the pound every day to see if he has turned up. Even if he slips the net at the pound, he will end up at our kennels anyway so I will know.

I pray he has already been found by the time anyone reads this!

Well done Lin xx

Have spoken to the owner and he had just had a phone call from a lady saying that she thought she had seen Radley very close to where he went missing from so the owner was on his way over there now.
I have advised on what to do if Radley is seen i.e. crouch low to the ground, no eye contact, throw some food and back off etc.
The dog warden and local vets have been notified and posters are up in the area, I will E-mail general information including contact numbers for vets in the area. Stay safe Radley until you are found xxx
