- What a shame you didn't know sooner. Well done on getting posters up in the area, hopefully if someone has picked her up they'll see one. Also make sure all the vets in Quarry Bank have a poster, you can use the green tab Find Any UK Vet.

- tesco refused to put one up "against company policy" but they did put one in the staff canteen, we also put one in the bus stop directly outside. we have spoke to the police community support officers who will keep an eye out whilst on foot patrol in the area and the council litter pickers are looking aswell
- 2011-07-23 21:17 Unknown
- You are doing a great job - how about Tesco at Old Hill or Aldi and Netto, they may let you put a poster in there. Some people ask the Taxi drivers or milkman if they can keep a look out or the dustbin men. Liz xx

- thanks for all your replies and input. myself, partner and my mother have been over the park every day twice a day for a couple of hours a time.lucy is extremely friendly and loves attenion off anyone she see's, also loves playing with other dogs i have a feeling she has ran straight to someone else. we expanded our postering area more today. over the last couple of days i have put a missing advert on k9,gumtree,preloved,bargain pages, express and star, contacted manor vets left details, left details with the dog warden, sunnyside, rosedean, rspca, posters and spoke to endless people and put posters in shops lamposts on bins and handed them out ther is not one way in or out of bearmore park which is not posterd, and a very large surrounding area.
anymore ideas would be great thanks

- As she is so small she could be hiding out in the churchyard or fields and you may not see her. Try leaving some food out in that area. Good Luck. xxLast edited: 2011-07-23 18:27:03 by B30

- Sorry Lucy is missing, we are in DY9 but I work in DY2 which is closer, I've printed posters and will keep a good eye out. We know how you feel, we lost our dog 6 weeks ago, but with the help of dogs lost and particularly the posters we were able to get her back.Good luck & stay positive

- There is a female yorkie up on gumtree today for sale.. Stating in Harrow though.
Just the advert seems weird, and the write up is bad English
Maybe worth a look ??? - 2011-07-22 18:14 Unknown

- Spoke to owners son, he has done lots of postering but have asked him to send a photo of the dog. It is his moms dog and she does not have access to the internet. He has phoned DW, vets, he has numbers to dogs home, asked him to phone police. Dog was lost as above.

- Sorry to see that LUCY is missing.
- If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
- Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
- A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (31248)
- Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
- You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
- Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
- If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
- If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
- Keep us updated by keeping your dog's page up to date and check for posts from helpers who may have suggestions and possible matches or sightings
- DogLost is free and anyone asking for money to find or return your dog is not volunteering for us. If you are concerned about an approach you have received, please email admin@doglost.co.uk
