After further investigations and also DNA testing it turns out that the found dog is not Duffy.
Duffy is still missing please look out for her

The found dog is Duffy!!
Sadly due to changed circumstances the owner is unable to have little Duffy back home with him. Duffy has a new home lined up for her thanks to Jane at My Forever Home in Walsall, West Mids

I haven't heard anything back from the owner regarding this found Pug so I'm thinking it wasn't a match for Duffy.

I have spoken to Jane and also Duffy's owner. I have received photos that I have forwarded on to the owner. Hope to hear back from the owner very soon xx

Could someone please contact me about Duffy urgently? I am from a rescue called My Forever Home in Walsall, West Mids, I have been trying to call the office but it has been constantly engaged. I have some potentially important information but wasn't sure whether to call the number on this poster, it's a bit delicate to put it mildly. Owners, think of who knew you had Duffy? Assuming no one was at home when she was taken - who knew you would be out etc. Obviously they just wanted her. Horrible people. Fingers crossed the police will find her. x

Hi i realise this is a long way off & doesnt say a puppy but on k9searchuk.com there is a found black pug bitch. Maybe you could check it out just incase. Good Luck i hope you find her soon if this isnt her. PA.

This is not so far from where April the pug went missing last autumn (she was Boston area I think). Would it be worth liaising with her contacts?

Thanks Ashmark for making up the flyers for Duffy (while I had no internet), I will E-mail contact numbers for vets in Norfolk along with further advice.

Have spoken to the owner and a window was broken and Duffy was stolen from the house, (nothing else was taken). The police are involved and a CRN has been issued. The Dog warden and all local vets have been notified. The owner will be sorting out a photo a.s.a.p for us. Stay safe little girl until you are found xxx

• If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
• Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
• A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (29999)
• Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
• You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
• Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
