Please view similar looking dog found on 9/3/2015 at www.dogslostuk.co.uk, however the male dog in question is not chipped. Worth checking though- London Borough of Ealing

I have already been in contact with the owner of Tank and sent her a photo of the found dog. She is waiting for him to be checked for a microchip but doesn't think it is Tank, however she is aware of the fact that he would have changed in appearance since going missing I 2011

Really sorry to read that Tank is still missing. From looking at the info, he's now four years old? Just wondering if his poster etc. should be updated so people know how old he is now? Hope for good news soon.

Helen has shown a photo of Tank to the person who saw dog 30674 and sadly it is not Tank. Keep looking for him everyone, he's out there somewhere.

if you go onto oodle.co.uk they list all the ads for a lot of the for sale sites such as preloved etc all on one site. there are lots of labs for sale within 100 mile radius of his home. I don't know if Tank is classed as fox red or yellow. Also on freeads.co.uk Worth a look. xx

Hi, Unfortunately Tank does not look like the dog I found the other day as the dog I found was very yllow in colour whereas Tank appears to be a bit more of a Sandy colour? Really hope that you find Tank soon. Get as many posters out as you can so that everyone knows that he is missing. Good luck. xxx

Just had a long chat with the owner. Tank lives on a small holding and was outside in the field. Just by the field is a bridge and there was a white transit van parked up. When owner went to call him in she noticed he wasn't in the field and went towards the van but it pulled away. Police have been informed and they have issued a crime number. Posters have been put up and the local radio stations are being contacted. Owner has had a call from a kennel near Doncaster saying a yellow lab was picked up on Saturday and they are exchanging photographs in case Tank was dumped once they realised he was neutered. Vets have been contacted and he is on Facebook. Can someone please put him on Twitter. Petlog have sent details to all vets within a 30 mile radius.

• If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
• Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
• A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (29157)
• Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
