Just rang the local dog warden to see if I can trace where this dog is . The man I spoke to said he didn't know anything about it but gave me another number to call . Who then gve me a number of the local office to where this dog was found . I am in work now so can't call it just yet but will try later . In the meantime if anyone else needs to call the number was 0151 677 7594. Which is highways, parks and leisure . Please post if you call so I don't call too , I hope this is not another blunder by our councils where nobody seems to know anything.

It does say the dog is microchipped, so surely the owner would have been contacted. Cody is microchipped but bouncer isn't.

There is a possibility it could be Cody from Liverpool and come across the mersey or bouncer as he is missing from Wales which you can see across the estuary from where this dog was found . I know the dead animals found are usually taken to the council kennels then collected on Fridays (today ) to be incinerated so if this dog needs to be checked the owners need to act fast , I thought maybe bouncer as he had no I'd. So so sad I hate these out comes . I hope this dog can be traced and someone can have closure at least dog wardens number is 0151 647 8799 or Wirral street wise who are the ones that collect bodies , I just hope they would of collect bodies on a Sunday . The life guard may also know or heswall animal welfare may know something 0151 336 1274 . Bit concerned bouncers or codys owners have not seen this post .

That's just so sad. If the dog was microchipped then I hope the owners can be traced - a very sad situation but at least they'll have closure
