Jill don't just go by the microchip as unfortunately they're not a failsafe. I've had 2, one in a cat and one in a dog, that didn't work when scanned so just because they can't pick up a chip it doesn't mean it's not your dog. Good luck

I saw this lad again in the daylight today - he is slate grey rather than black but his head colour is solid no stripe down his nose with a white marking on his chest

This dog looks very like my lovely dog that has gone missing ,which I have reported in dogs lost.I shall phone tomorrow to check if it is possibly him ..even though it is a long way from where we live,stranger things have happened. Our dog is microchipped (see dogs lost on march 10th..SKY) so the kennels will know if it is him.
