thanks freda-n for clearing that confusion up-it was just that it said tagged and i so hoped someone was worried and looking for him.its just so sad when they seem to be unloved but maybe this was not the case. im just glad he had some warmth and love in his last days. the weather has been so cold for lost/abandoned dogs to be out in.

This is such a sad story! In reply to DEWilliams, it was my friend who found and rescued this old boy and she has confirmed that he had not collar and he was NOT tagged. At least he was safe and warm in his last few days, bless him.

Bless him, so sad, but thankfully he wasn't alone on the streets at the end. Hopefully his owners will come to light eventually and know what has happened to him! Run free fella xx

IT DOES SAY HE WAS TAGGED SO MAYBE HIS PEOPLE WILL BE TRACED. THEY MIGHT BE WORRIED OWING TO HIS AGE AND PROBLEM.

Just called the vets for an update and sadly this poor lads breathing deteriorated further and they had to let him go to sleep. Run free at Rainbow Bridge sweet lad, warm and cozy at the end xx

Any chance this could be Simon, missing from Bristol? I know that Simon is microchipped but you never know??
