Hi there is a female Akita at SunnySide dog kennels in Wolverhampton (Featherstone) which looks very similar to Ruby. They have her labelled as an American Akita. Very nice girl she sits and gives paw and is very quiet, have seen her there last week when I was going to check for my missing dog. I went again on Monday and she was still there. The number for SunnySide is: 01902 790 618. I have a pic of her (but its a bit blurry) if you want me to send it let me know an email address.

I've received email (I'm NG3) and so sorry to see that Ruby is missing. I just cannot believe your bad luck as we are still looking for Kyra and Sofia. There is a DogLost found Akita - 27959 - DE14 on 11 Feb, so obviously not Ruby. I don't think the colouring's right for Kyra or Sofia but perhaps owner might wish to check. Will post this comment on Kyra and Sofia's page too (DogLost ID 26308), as I feel if we get a clue re one it might lead to the others too. Will keep looking for all three when out with my own dog and also in the car. Hope they are all soon found safe and well.
