- Oh my god. It does make you wonder!! Loads of dogs must be out their that have been rehomed when owners are looking for them- so sad. Thank goodness she is back. Liz xx

- Ok,Well after my phonecall this morning,Skyes owner called WANSBECK DISTRICT COUNCIL they told her that no dog had been picked up of Skyes discription,she then called the kennels who told her yes they had a similar dog in...it turns out that Skye had been picked up on the 12th...the day after she went missing! so after talking to the dog warden on several occasions and the DW had picked her up and telling the owner they hadnt,it has now cost the owner £105 how can someone forget they had picked up a dog of this discription???...its lucky I called the owner thismorning,and I told her to insist and not just take thier word for it,Skye would of been up for rehoming tomorrow!!!
Anyway luckily this has had a happy ending,Skye is home,not quite herself yet but shes home,I have recomended that Skye and her doggie brother get a chip and tag for a welcome home pressie.

- Just spoken to Skyes owner,Still no news,she ran off with thier other dog and he returned the next morning without her.....have advised owner to POSTER POSTER POSTER
just incase someone has taken her in and hasnt reported her as being found.Also advised to keep ringing the council/dogwarden,and will be sending further advice by email. - 2011-02-18 12:42 Shereen
