- Thank you Liz, that's so kind of you... I am really pleased to say that we found him the early hours of this morning, cold and very smelly! He seems to have hurt his pads and is limping but otherwise is OK and is seeming a bit happier this morning.

- Thank you admin, we have contacted the police and local animal hospital, and they have taken details of him. He is also registered with a second nationwide animal register so we have called and logged him as missing with them too. (The disk for them is on his collar so someone may call I guess) We have a NCDL nearby so I'll get my husband to call them first thing and also to call the microchip people. Am I right in thinking that anyone picking him up would check him for a microchip? And that they would therefore be led to us via this?
I can't tell you how worried we are. My husband is still out looking for him.
Thank you to anyone who can help with this. He is dearly loved and we are a bit lost now, especially his canine companion Lucy, and our children.
