Alyson has just checked the details and sadly it's not Sheba, but thankfully it wasn't Samson either! xx
Deb4gsd
A female has recently been found in Reigate and is being looked after by Alyson Reilly. Apparently she has been running loose aprox 3wks, a long with a male GSD, who was sadly killed on the M25. I don't know if it is possibly Sheba, but have let Alyson know about Sheba so she can check out details.

Sad to see these two still not home or any sightings. I do feel they could be out of the area by now and the search should be stepped up to further afield. Keep up the posters keep them in the minds of people I'm sure by now they if out would have parted from one another. Come on you two lets have a sign.
Shereen
ive spoken to the new holding kennels for stray dogs today (as of the 1st Feb) they are aware of Samson and sheba now ill be speaking to the kennel owner on monday and then ill send posters over to them...but no news so far : (
doglady
These dogs are on BIGGSD so any rescue would have seen them as there is so many German Shepherd Rescues but they all use the BIGGSD sight. Just keep up all the posting and checking with pounds near and far from where they went missing. Last edited: 2011-02-02 13:29:47 by doglady

Wish we had sightings of them. You need to check the pounds regularly and also have you been in touch with German Shepherd Rescue, you could send them a picture. I have just checked the free ads and Pets4Home, nothing on there. Will keep in touch Liz
Raly
spoken to owner today and postering village and "local site".. could we bump this one, although not a confirmed siting by any means, you never know and may job a few people locally... thanks

They have been added to facebook via a friend. And have been in contact with blue cross and stockenchurch again, but nothing. The police came again, but have no news. More posters to go out asap to more local pubs, thanks everyone for keeping an eye out.
Barney 'n' Ozzie's mum
I've just posted details of them on my Facebook page. Have you thought about setting up a Facebook group for them or putting them on Twitter?
Barney 'n' Ozzie's mum
Have you already checked with Blue Cross at Lewknor 01844 355293 and Stokenchurch Dog Rescue 01494 482695. Also have you left an item of clothing with your scent on at the spot where you last saw them?
Unknown
I've found a couple of pubs for you to call and maybe leave photo's of them:

1. Half Moon in Cuxham 01491 614151
2. Home Sweet Home in Roke 01491 838249
3. The Goose in Berrick Salome 01491 612304

I will think of some more ideas later.Last edited: 2011-01-27 09:56:27

Newspapers have given very negative responses. If they have to post for us they will have too for everyone. But its ok if we want to buy an ad. I thought papers were for the people and their lives and what affects them!
viper007
OR have had photos and said they would post it up and keep a look out! Thanks everyone
viper007
Thanks Angus, have swamped all local papers with photos and short appeal in the hopes they will publish.

And the number for the terrier club is incorrect. A most surprised gentleman answered the phone who lives in Woking!
viper007
Shereen, hi the number for sdk does not connect is it correct? Also Lizzy do you have a number for OR as they have no listing for it with 118118?
Shereen
Viper007... SDK enviromental 01754 538 941...Animal wardens, the contractors in our area as we dont have a dog warden,I made a report of Samson and Sheba on friday,i gave them all of your details I knew, but they were going to call you Fiday just to confirm a few details with you....I highly recomend you call them in the morning, just to make sure your dogs havnt been picked up,and handed to them, and also, call the council again,to just double check, and ill call you tomorrow.
Unknown
Sorry, OR is a vehicle recovery company in Britwell Salome, they may have seen the dogs when they have been out recovering vehicles. Just a thought!!
viper007
Not had any contact with SDK not sure what is that please Shereen? And also what is OR Recovery please
Shereen
Doglady,Yes Oxfordshire is the south east.x
doglady
Are you sure that this is the south east as this comes under Oxfordshire I could be wrong but worth checking?
Unknown
There is OR Recovery in area where they went missing, perhaps he has seen them around when he has been out - just a thought or perhaps they have moved onto another village. Think it is Wallington?
Shereen
Viper 007...Did SDK get hold of you yesterday??
doglady
viper007 I know what you are saying but the dogs may not make a lot of noise if they are lock in so just check pleases where they could have got lock in. Did they go running off after something? and did you go back right away to the place they run from when they did not come back right away? make sure you post a bit further away because these dog do travel a long way also make sure you contact other dog wardens in other areas as they don not contact one another even if it is on the boundary, and other rescues and vet out of the area. viper007
Yes it was on a familiar walk but in a loop. Will check their other routes tomorrow, but sure they would have heard us from either walk as we are in a valley and voices echo for miles. Will do separate pictures once camera battries are replaced. Many thanks good suggestion!
doglady
Where they went missing is this the place they are walk? and do you have another area where you walk them that they go often, they may not stick together so it would be good to put up posters of them separate as well as together. This area look very rural so it would be good to go to farms and see if the dogs could have got lock in any building left open and lay to rest in. Last edited: 2011-01-22 18:50:56 by doglady

Admin
Sorry to see that SAMSON AND SHEBA is missing.
  • If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
  • Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
  • A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (27555)
  • Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
  • You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
  • Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
  • If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
  • If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
  • Keep us updated by keeping your dog's page up to date and check for posts from helpers who may have suggestions and possible matches or sightings
