I big thanks for all the support!!! He is none the worse for his adventure, not only myself but the other 2 dogs are delighted to have him home again... though I am not sure how the cats feel as he was very excited for several hours...lol
Posters do work and I am sure that mentioning on them that he was microchipped could have been the trigger to the finder returning him at last. A friend said that it was just as well that he was returned that morning because I am not to be trusted to visit rescue centres without adopting a new baby.
Best wishes to you lovely people and even more for those of you still waiting to be reunited with your pets xxx

Just had a call from Angie with the FANTASTIC news this gorgeous little boy has just come home !! Someone local had picked him up and then passed him on to someone else ! By law any person finding a dog MUST report this to the dog warden and in this area the police are helpful with lost dogs and they had issued a crime number for Sid. Whilst i was speaking to Angie I could hear a VERY happy Sid in the background ! Welcome home little man and please stay safe from now on x Pam

Postered again today and left lots of flyers in shops. The local paper carried an advert in the lost and found. Still no word.... I'm going to personally visit rescue organisations tomorrow.

Just had a call from the police about a found dog, I went to see him but he was a lot older but still as lovely!! After this experience at least I was able to give advice to the girls that had found him! Tomorrow more postering.

Sid is only 6 months old and he had wandered of with an older dog. The older dog was picked up and soon back with his owners but there have been no sightings or news of Sid at all. he is such a cute looking little chap thats its very likely someone has taken him in and hopefully they will report this to the dog warden WHICH THEY ARE REQUIRED TO DO BY LAW ! Owners are going to poster as much as they can. Hoping to see little Sid back home again very soon xx PamLast edited: 2011-01-17 16:39:42 by Jumanji - Co-ordinator.South.Yorkshire
