Sandra so sorry you haven't got Blue back yet x doo keep up with the postering and try to poster further afield as he may well have wandered off some distance away from home. If you look on the recent reunited dogs and find a border collie called Sunny HowardBrowne from Leeds .........you will see he had wandered far further from home than his owners could have thought ! It would be good to try getting an advert in the local papers ...... maybe such as the Doncaster Free Press ? You might be able to persuade them to write an article and possible joing up with Lolas owners so both dogs are featured. If you do this try to get the papers to put photos of the dogs in but if they wont do this make sure they give full descriptions of the dogs..... breed, colour, markings etc and the day and area they went from. Dont forget to keep checking with Mount Pleasant too ! I hope he is home soon xx Pam
sandra card

oh that great Sandra I am sure you will both be able to help each other ! Apart from the missing tip to his tail does Blue have any other distinguishing scars, missing teeth or marks ? I think you said your husband called at Mount Pleasant Kennels ......... but did he leave a poster with them ? If he did'nt can you please try to get one there ..... and while there have a look at all the dogs to make sure Blue is'nt there x PamLast edited: 2010-12-19 21:40:52 by Jumanji - Co-ordinator.South.Yorkshire

The dog warden and Mount Pleasant the local stray kennels have been contacted by Blues owners.Since he escaped from the garden there have been no sightings of him at all. A fence panel in the back garden had been damaged by the bad weather and Blue escaped through this to a neighbouring garden which is not secure. From here he would have found himself near a busy road in unfamiliar territory as he has always gone out from his home via the front of the house. His owners are going to start postering and I have advised they try to visit the kennels in person to view all the dogs there and also leave a poster with them. Hoping to see Blue back home very soon ~ Pam
