Maybe a bit of a long shot, but could it possibly have been this dog? 26619

Hi , I have looked at your dog, I am afraid that was not him.

This boy looks a pure border collie, white and black. Very slim built . He was friendly, but also looked scared as he didn't know where he was . He kept running in the road and over the park. I could not get hold of him.
He was in sight for about 15 mins, but as I was on phone to dog warden he ran off up road, not seen him since , been thinking all day about him, dread to think where he is, just hope he made his way home.

Dog warden was not helpful, said they only come out if the dog was in my care, not loose on street. I suppose they don't have resources to be looking around, but still, this poor dog may now be involved in a RTA .
