Thanks for the text Millys Mum. Lucky was a very 'lucky 'girl to be found by such caring people who looked after her so well.
Hope she's now got over her little adventure and will stay nice and warm.

My goodness, what lovely, kind and caring people you have in West Didsbury. This type of reunited story just makes it all worthwhile. Her saviours all deserve a medal each, including the local school. I hope Lucky (what an appropriate name!) has recovered and is all nice and snug in her favourite sleeping place. And, incidentally Sarah, I'm also old enough to remember the Red Rovers tickets!!!

Just got hold of Siobhan on the phone. She said her housemate was on her way to work and found Lucky lying in the bus stop and making no attempt to move. She was probably frozen after being out all night in sub-zero temperatures.

So the housemate phoned Siobhan to come with a blanket, the housemate went to work and Siobhan got Lucky inside into a school.

They will be getting a little Christmas present from me soon!

So glad Lucky is safely home-maybe she followed the children to school? It costs on the bus for a dog you know-child fare!! Good on Siobhan and Moor Allerton Schoool for letting the dog come in.(I saw children from that school a few weeks ago doing orienteering at Chorlton Water Park- lively interested children- a few stopped to pet my dogs).
Goldenfroddo-hope you have heating in N Wales-everyone else and all dogs- keep warm and safe.

Had a message from Marky telling me that Lucky had been found but couldnt reply until now as I've had frozen pipes here in North Wales and guess what they've all burst. Good job I'm an expert with a mop and bucket.

So very pleased this gorgeous girlie is now safely back home. Stay safe and warm now Lucky as I know how worried your family have been about you. xx

But I'm pleased (and incredibly relieved) to report that Lucky was found at a bus stop on Barlow Moor Road this morning! Maybe she was waiting for a 23 bus to the Trafford Centre??

She was taken into Moor Allerton school by a lady called Siobhan. Funnily enough, I was right outside the school when the dog warden called me!! I was just about to poster that very area!

Siobhan waited for 2 hours with Lucky until the dog warden turned up. There are still some good people in the world, including yourselves!

Anyway, all's well that ends well.

Just emailed people who might see Lucky if she heads down Wilmslow Rd
towards Chorlton. Fingers crossed she's home safe soon.

Marky phoned me first thing this morning. Still no further sightings of Lucky. He was just about to go out postering and is going to Manchester Dogs Home to see if she's there.

2nd Dec - Have just found out Lucky was spotted at 3.10pm on Cotton Lane, then at 3.30-4.30 she was spotted twice outside the Red Lion pub on Wilmslow Road, Withington.
