Pluto was found very near to home, it looks as though he was hit by a vehicle soon after going missing and killed instantly. He was still stretched out as though in full gallop! My colleague and I managed to pick Pluto up and transport him the last mile home, where I wrapped him in his favourite blanket in a stable for his owner to grieve. He will be collected by Dignity tomorrow and cremated before taking pride of place looking out over the fields he used to run in.

Pluto'mum has asked to be allowed to grieve quietly but thanks everyone for all of their help and support over the last week.

A sad end to such a beautiful Dobe, missed from our world but just waiting on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge. RIP pluto and thoughts to your family.

spoke with owners this afternoon - they have a small glimmer of hope - they have left food and scented clothing at place this has been disturbed - it could be a fox but is in the vicinty of where he was last seen, they are rescenting the area again tonight and will be taking a disposable bbq to see if the can lure him in with the smell of fresh cooked food - if anyone can help over the weekend please call owners directly

Hi. A request for help searching the area/getting hold of Pluto has been placed on the National Dobermann Forum. Hopefully some experienced handlers in the area might be able to help the owner coax this poor frightened boy back to them. I've informed the owner by phone of this today. Fingers crossed. Praying hard.

Pluto was sighted yesterday at 5pm near some stables off the A287. Owner is going to put his crate, bed and food there for him with something nice and smelley inside to entice him and keep him in around. Everyone in this area is aware of him but have advised no one approaches or tries to catch him but to call owner immediately if seen.

Hi all, Pluto is still missing. After clarifying the last sighting location I Spent 3 hours this afternoon walking the A30 / behind what used to be the Coach House Garden Centre between Hook and Hartley Wintney with my own two Dobes (resulting in a trip to the vets as my pup got tangled in wire). Could not see any trace of Pluto so obviously hiding somewhere! Fingers crossed he will pop out tonight when I am again on nights. Keep em peeled and stay safe. Stacy :)

Have spoken to Pluto's Mum, she is on her way to where he was sighted at 3am this morning, silly boy out in the wind and rain! Have advised about scenting and leaving clothing/food which she is going to do. She's also going to hand out lots of flyers and put up posters so with any luck she'll get more calls as to his whereabouts. Fingers crossed for some news soon, just stay away from the busy roads young man.

Yes, near Bagshot, a DRA member (and police officer) has reported another sighting, she's on nights and is watching our for him with her colleagues. Hope he's found soon.

A dobe was see loose on the A30 yesterday, someone rang Chris Omar at Dobermann Rehoming Association to see if she knew of him. Sorry I can't lift this pic but at the bottom of the first post on the link attached is a pic of Pluto.
