- When I get home from work this evening I will put a poster up at the footpath going into Kilndown Wood and will spread the word with dog walkers etc who use Kilndown Wood just in case he has moved across from Bedgebury towards Kilndown.

- Spoken to owner today- for her dog to go walkabouts is very out of character. she has reported to dog warden vets and police plus rangers as missing Bedgebury forest. she is getting loads of leaflets printed and have advised a few other ways such as using postman refuse collectors etc. I have given a list of possible kennels such as red sheen viking oaks RSPCA brands hatch. If anyone is local please help spread the word. thanks CJ

- Hi , sorry to see your dog is missing. Someone will try and make personal contact with you as soon as possible, to offer advice and help. Firstly contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres. Give them all a detailed description of your dog with any distinguishing marks/scars. You can find vets in your own area by clicking on the green logo which says “Find Any UK VET”, on the right hand side of the page under the “latest missing dogs” photo - top right. You can also add comments and update the dog’s status, e.g.sightings, re-united etc. by clicking on “add a comment” at the bottom of the page. If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and at the same time, check that all details held, are up to date. Start postering now! I CANNOT EMPHASISE HOW VERY IMPORTANT THIS IS. If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be re-homed legally, after 7 days, so please try to visit rescue centres, to look for your dog & give them a poster. Do not rely on checking by phone alone, as other people may not recognise your dog by your description. Please send a photo to admin@doglost.co.uk as soon as possible. Good luck.
