The details of the found dog which helper racheljane alerted us to is no longer on the Carmarthenshire website so hopefully he has been claimed, there is a photo of a full black male Lab not sure if this is the dog the Council spoke to Natalie about.

Have updated the details on here to show up on the DL poster and also cropped and lightened the photo/s. Keeping everything crossed he is reunited back with his family. Jan x

Great you have been able to check this boy out, the dog in the pic clearly has a small white patch albeit only small. They only put the minimum description on their website, but do supply photos which is a big help in cross checking. Jan x

Just rang council and the dog they have there is plain black no white markings so not him but thanks everyone for still looking. I still hope he will be found soon and also hope he's not still out in this freezing weather

Looked at the picture I don't think it looks like him and they don't mention white patch on chest but will try to speak to someone at the council to find out more

Spoken to Council to try and find more info out on him, they could not get through to the DW but are asking them to ring back. Jan x

racheljane, thanks for the posting the details, does look like him and the found boy has a white patch, will alert Owl who has been dealing with his family. Fingers crossed it is him. Jan x

found: male black lab cross at rochdale dog rescue, at the bottom of the urgent dogs list... well worth checking out there is a photo but it is not too clear. says around 2 years old, Natalie

He has stopped coming for food and there have been no sightings, so he seems to have moved on. He is very fond of food, so maybe someone is feeding him somewhere.

This lad has been seen, he is definitely coming back to the house for food. Fosterers went there today with their other dog hoping to attract him but no luck. Regular feeding will continue, if this doesn't work they may need to use a trap. Have advised of 2 traps which they may be able to borrow.

The contact details are those of fosterer who had this dog for several weeks. She will be going back to area to help, as he may come to her. Have advised on scent laying. It is possible that the dog may have been back to new home for food but we are not sure.
