Was just going to mention this too. Worth a look https://m.facebook.com/groups/100130993521779?refid=7&__tn__=CH-R

not very likely, as Casper would now be over 8 years old but there is a sable and white male collie in Monaghan pound, Ireland, in urgent circumstances so worth a query. I dont know whether or not he has a microchip, but it is possible to remove or inactivate chips I've read. https://www.facebook.com/148748661824891/photos/a.437189306314157.102036.148748661824891/1819176278115446

Oh, this is so sad that we haven't heard anything further. It seemed like a good sighting of Casper. Hope he's okay. x
CP
Has owner got any updates on any further happenings to give us a little something to work on, please? All ready and waiting here.

Still no news on Casper...!!!!1 xx
CP
Is there any update on beautiful Casper? I look every day in the hope he has been reunited. I pray for some positive sighting soon.
CP
It's, nevertheless, a contact lead, Babs. Four weeks ago sighting would make him missing 3 weeks from 30th Aug. Are you still regularly searching the area he ran towards after this sighting 'cos it could be where he's bedding down all this time feeling secure?
babs

Is there any news on this beautiful Collie yet. Has owner advertised him lost in local newspaper? Has there been any more sightings? Do hope he can be found soon.
babs

Babs, get yourself and others at the canal sighting after dark. That is when dogs come out. When they are on the run they rarely appear during daylight hours, especially the nervous ones. If this is an area he knows put some food down regularly and draw him out. Good luck. Hope to see him in the blue soon
CP
Just in case he has somehow crossed over or been taken over the border into Notts, by however means, as it has happened before, has Castlefield Kennels been checked out as it is used as a stray pound I understand?
babs
ambivets on munday street know all about casper because thats where casper`s registered and they microchiped casper Last edited: 2010-09-14 23:08:51 by babs

You seem to have covered well with your enquiries but could I just suggest Ambivet in Mundy Street who say they will accept dogs brought in by members of the public when Council dog wardens are not in work. He may have passed through their hands - worth a check if you've not done so already.

Keeping everything crossed Casper is picked up and someone sees a poster or his CHIP is read. Good luck. Jan x

Any news on this gorgeous guy, yet? It would be so helpful if owner could update as then we can do internet searches to rescues, etc., even though we're miles away. Saw his posting on Preloved. Can anyone say which Council would take responsibility for this area? Wishing him home quickly and safely. Last edited: 2010-09-13 16:27:06 by Angus
