- Tibercat,
Thanks for your interest and concern. Had a look at Betty and I'm afraid she's not Elly. As you say Elly was chipped but you never know, sometimes people don't check properly (allegedly) or the chip isn't working for some reason. Funnily enough we've been talking about her this last couple of days and I even looked tonight at the video that I made last year on Youtube. You can find it at

- AR,
You had us going then, but the white markings on Lisa and Elly are totally different. Still, at least people like yourself are looking out for Elly. Thanks a lot, one day maybe we will find her, here's hoping.

- We have had 14 sightings in total, half of these are at Loanhead and all in the first week after she went missing (now 4 weeks ago). It seems probable that these are of Elly. The more recent sightings further afield we now don't think they are Elly but can't be entirely sure. In all cases the dog wasn't caught!!! The feeling is that she has been taken by someone and either they still have her or they have sold her on. We are offering £1000 reward for her safe return, from where-ever/who ever.

- I was out on Sunday with a few others to look for elly but there was no sign. I went out again on monday no result. I also went into Bilston woods to speak to the 'Eco Warriors' that have lived there for about 8 yrs but they haven't seen here. They said they walk all over the areas so they will certainly be more watchful.

- Have now spoken with Elly's owners. Have given advice, but this is going to be a difficult one. There are no signs of what happened to Elly after the dogs fell. They do not know if she was killed on impact or was alive when she fell and bolted.

- Oh my goodness. What a horrendous thing to happen. Will give you a call this morning. Meanwhile, I will send out her poster to Scottish Rescues, in case she has been picked up.
