Found ! She was seen by a couple near the Jolly Drovers pub, they managed to look at her tag and call the owners number (in spain) and then Willow wouldn't let them near her... The owner called my partner and he jumped in the car to get her. Luckily she was still around when he got there. Thanks for all your help. Will sort out a link from our website to this site, to keep it high on google :)

Hi, thanks for the feedback. Spoke to Jayne at head office - so very helpful. Willow wears a electric training collar, because she has a tendency to run off and not coming back (chasing rabbits etc) and this is the only way that she can safetly be let of lead.... however as you can see, the collar hasn't stopped her this time. Collar will not work without the transmitter, so shouldn't be a problem to her out in the wild, it is loose enough that she could pull it off though and so the id tag could also get left behind. I will mention Equine Hospital to my partner so we can get a poster down there.

Try the Equine Hospital in liphook they have loads of fields and obviously lots of people coming and going so get them to put up the posters there. There is a Health Spa next door try there as well for postering. Good luck.... shame she is wearing an electric training collar tho.. hope she gets found soon...

Emailed advice. Sorry to hear that Willow is missing. Someone will try to make personal contact with you as soon as possible, to offer advice and help. Firstly contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres. Give them all a detailed description of your dog with any distinguishing marks/scars. You can find vets in your own area by clicking on the green logo which says “Find Any UK VET”, on the right hand side of the page under the “latest missing dogs” photo - top right. As soon as a photo is added mailings will be sent out to all local helpers who will help in the search for your dog. You can also add comments and update the dog’s status, e.g.sightings, re-united etc. by clicking on “add a comment” at the bottom of the page. If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and at the same time, check that all details held, are up to date. You can obtain a “MISSING” poster from "view poster" above. You can only print posters when you are signed in. Start postering now! I CANNOT EMPHASISE HOW VERY IMPORTANT THIS IS. If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be re-homed legally, after 7 days if it has no identification (microchip or ID disk attached), so please try to visit rescue centres, to look for your dog. Do not rely on checking by phone alone, as other people may not recognise your dog by your description.
